No, it can't.

The Bears are a far better team. They are also at home - where they would not lose to anyone in the post-season. Much less a 9-7 team.

It's rather stunning that people actually think this is even a game worth dissecting. I am blown away with every post that pegs this game as interesting.

When is the last time the Bears won a home playoff game?

WHAT!! they're the defending champs, they have a little swagger back, for you to think they have no shot is crazy talk ... Of course they have a shot, Bears should be favored at home but this game will be closer than you think, Bears aren't some super power team... Also keep in mind, Philly is better with Foles, and that's who you're gonna be facing...

Lol... dude, this is just so stupid and funny to read. Again, I don't go around saying shit like this every week (I picked them to lose the last two weeks) - Philly has next to zero chance Sunday. The Bears ARE NOT losing a playoff game at home. They are unreal at home and will not lose to a flawed, 9 win team like Philly.

Oh my god, is Philly better with Foles? Are they really? I guess I'm super worried now! Thanks for informing me. It is entirely irrelevant. The gap, especially in Chicago - is still far too huge.

It's just baffling to me that this game is being broken down by people as if it's even semi-intriguing. It's not... this game is a formality for Chicago.

They're not a super power? Fine. However, they're a top 5 team in the league right now and at home? I don't think there's a team who would beat them in January. Much less the damn Eagles. lol

"They have swagger back!"... This is something a 12 year old would say. We'll see how much swagger they have when they're turning it over and moving nowhere fast offensively on Sunday.

I'll say it again... The lone game they lost at home this season was large in-part to two SPT's TD's by NE. They STILL only lost that game at the goal line as time expired. It would take that level of a gaffe by the Bears or a Trubisky injury to give the Eagles a chance.

When is the last time the Bears won a home playoff game?

The last time they were in the playoffs.

It's also just a nonsensical question. How was Matt Nagy, Khalil Mack, Akiem Hicks, this D, this D coordinator and Mitch Trubisky supposed to have won a playoff game before together... anywhere? This is their first season together.

I'm not here to fight with people. I'm here to inform you. It's just not going to go your way man. You haven't watched this team... the D is just now peaking and they don't lose at home unless Mack is hurt and they surrender two SPT's TD's to the New England Patriots. Yet, still lose by a yard as time expires. So... pray for that maybe?

The fact that the Bears have to show up on Sunday is kind of a pain in the ass. Would be nice to rest the guys for LA.

You know... reading all your points on why this is a “formality” and the Bears WILL crush Philly I kind of understood your points. Why do you think Chicago is only 5.5 point favorites?
Seems like Vegas is starting to believe in Philly after making them 13.5 point underdogs in LA (and not only covering but winning)
And YES! Chicago is a top 5 team but Philly just beat two top 5 teams. I definitely think Chicago is better but I think Philly matches up well because they are a good D that can stop the run and have a better O than Chicago.

I'm sure someone will explain it all away with Nick Foles, but the Eagles have the worst turnover differential of all 12 playoff teams at -6 and just barely better than Oakland. Chicago is 3rd best overall as well as 3rd best in the playoffs (the top 7 in turnover +/- all made it in). Couple that with Chicago's tough D and HFA, and I think the Bears advance.

Some of it simply had to do with incredible bad turn-over luck. Basically everything bounced against the Eagles for a while (randomness). And if that was not the case, the officials made sure the turn-over did not count (in favour of the Eagles) anyway.

The Eagles' run at least somewhat coincides with the random element of the turnover equation somewhat evening out towards the mean.

I think the Bears win and Foles' magic ride comes to an end. But anyone who thinks Philly can't possibly win is nuts. Foles is hot right now at QB. I read a story on the Athletic that he is getting the ball out in 2.46 seconds on average, and is completing 72% of his passes. That's Brady level, and pretty much negates the pass rush most of the time. The Bears have a great defense at all three levels and may make it hard for Foles to maintain that rhythm. But if he does...it's anyone's game.

If you wanted a bye, the Bears should have won more games. But thanks for winning last week. It’ll be the last time you guys win a game until September.

and four losses which all came down to the final play. Two of them in OT.

Your whole post is hilarious and really demonstrates your juvenile thinking, but I love this part above...

Basically stating (in complete ignorance) that the Bears can be easily had at the end of games. HAHAHAHA:pound:

You funny.

Chicago played 3 good teams all year, 2 of them at home. One could argue that Seattle wasn't very good early in the season and the Bears were lucky to catch them at home in week 2. They lost to the Dolphins and the Giants? he Patriots, who were in total disarray at the time bitch slapped them all over the field in Foxboro and Green Bay beat them with a one legged QB that suffers from terminal vaginal irritation.

He calls us a 9-7 team instead of 3-0 since the return of Foles and beating the Rams and Texans in that span. He thinks they're hot shit for beating California Goff in Chicago in the cold, when the Eagles actually went there and beat them on the road. Completely unaware.

The Eagles are better now than they've been all season. The people that don't know that and don't really follow the full league stick out like a sore thumb.

I went 13-3 picking Bears games this year. I was even better than they were. They are an easy team to read.

They have quite a bright future and will learn a lot from their loss this weekend.
