I think some people are overlooking that 2001 Shaq was probably the best player of all time, if you look at individual years.

Lakers playoff lineup and rotation and ages:
PG: Fisher- 26
SG: Kobe- 22
SF: Fox- 31
PF: Grant- 35
C: Shaq- 28
(all 5 started all 16 games)
Bench:
Robert Horry- 30 (all 16 games)
Bian Shaw- 34 (all 16 games)
Ty Lue - 23 (15 games)
Mark Madsen- (13 games)
Ron Harper's corpse- 37 (6 games)

Cavs playoff lineup and rotation games played and ages:
PG: Kyrie Irving- 22
SG: JR Smith- 30
SF: LeBron- 31
PF: Love- 27
C: TT- 24
(all started all 21 playoff games besides Love, who started 19)
Bench:
Delly- 25 (20 games)
Mozgov- 29 (13 games)
Jefferson- 35 (21 games)
Shumpert- 25 (21 games)
Frye- 32 (17 games)
Mo Williams- 33 (13 games)

Cavs were deeper, with more guys in their primes, a lot lot better shooting, and had the bodies to throw at Shaq that even the Warriors dont have. Rick Fox would CRY.

Holy shit one-nut, you’ve outdone yourself today. Didn’t think you could get any dumber

that's the funny part. he somehow thinks that LeClown and Kyrie would have free run in the paint. I ain't even gonna bring up coaching, because that was NO comparison...

the age stat and overrating is simply what Wiggy does...

The coaching could be the difference....

Yep it all depends on the rules. Handchecking the W’s are toast...as in they still compete but lose lol
Dubs have way too many weapons man.

You just cant trade 2's for 3's.....esp. with Shaq missing free throws.

The Lakers would get buried.

I mean...just look at the comparisons of best players:

Durant vs. Shaq
Curry vs. Kobe- a 22 year old Kobe by the way- who DEF. was not near the top of what his game would become
Klay vs. who? Derek Fisher?
Draymond vs. who? a 35 year old Horace Grant?
Iguadala vs. who? Rick Fox?

for fucks-sake it would be a massacre.

Klay would be a very reasonable matchup vs. Kobe---especially a prime Klay vs. a 22 year old Kobe. Fisher would get toasted by Curry. Draymond would just absolutely destroy a 35 year hold Grant. Durant vs. fucking Rick Fox? gmafb.

Shaq would be nearly unstoppable--- but his FT issues would hurt them and you just cant trade 2's for 3's.....LAkers do not have nearly enough shooting or scoring punch or depth.

the age stat?

you tell me its a 27 year old Kobe and a 27 year old Horace Grant it maybe is a different story.

a 35 year old Grant and a 22 year old Kobe--- uhhh yah- that is a big fucking difference.

Rick Fox guarding LeBron would be hilarious.

not NEARLY as funny as watching LeClown trying to drive on Shaw, getting rejected, and flopping like a fish outta water... :pound:

PG: Fisher- 26

SF: Fox- 31

C: Shaq- 28

Bench:
Robert Horry- 30
Brian Shaw- 34
Ty Lue - 23
Mark Madsen-
Ron Harper's corpse- 37

that Lakers bench is awful. Horry, Shaw, Lue, Madsen, Harper.....shaw and Harper were cooked. Madsen is a joke. Ty Lue? PU.

PG: Steph Curry- 28
SG: Klay Thompson- 26
SF: Kevin Durant- 28
PF: Draymond- 26
C: Pachulia- 32

Bench:
Iguadala- 33
David West- 36
Shaun Livingston- 31
Ian Clark- 25
JaVale McGee- 29

i dont even understand how this is a debate. Durant and Curry - both in their primes- are right there with - or even better than a prime-Shaq and a 22 year old Kobe.

And then you still have Klay, Dray, and Iggy vs. the rest of the Lakers which is just a joke.

1. Shaq
2. Durant
3. Curry
4. Kobe
5. Dray
6. Klay
7. Iggy
8. Fisher? i dont even know who you would say the Lakers 3rd best player is on that team.

a 34 year old Shaw? are you on drugs? Shaw would be sitting in the corner rocking back and forth and sucking his thumb mumbling about LeBron abusing him.

a 22 year old Kobe that hadnt filled out yet would just get slaughtered by LeBron with that frame of LeBron's. SLAUGHTERED.

Shaw was a fucking bit player--- the dude averaged 18 minutes a game because he was well beyond his prime. seriously you have zero clue what you are even talking about

a 34 year old Shaw that didnt even average 20 minutes a game. what. a. fucking. joke. 37% from the field. lol. unreal. 4.4 pts, 3.5 rebounds per game. scrub. JR would whoop his ass at that point. EASILY outplayed him- not e ven close.
