Lakers in 3

Warriors concede after their third consecutive 50 point loss

Shaq couldn't play in todays game with his crap FT shooting. The game evolved.

I think last year Warriors or this year Warriors assuming Cousins doesn't mess up anything would win in 6 or 7.

Who ya got?

i gotta say Warriors hands down.

Shaq would be a problem- but the Warriors have so many more ways to beat you.

If you foul Shaq he isnt gonna hit em all. You cant just trade 2's for 3's- esp. with Shaq's free throw shooting.

2016 Cavs would beat the 2001 Lakers, let alone the 2017 Warriors.

and then you woke up and APOLOGIZED, clown... :pound:
LeBron best player on either team. better than Shaq

Kyrie and Love > just Kobe all-star wise

Delly would make Fish cry.

TT would abuse the corpse of Horace Grant.

that Cavs team def. better, deeper, more talented...

Kobe was barely "Kobe" yet--- he was fucking 22. Dont get me wrong- he was great- all star level- but def. not peak Kobe- not even close

right...

defensively the Cavs don't measure up. So you had LeClown and Kyrie. Love wouldn't scare anyone on that team...

Hilarious. Thanks for the laugh...

Delly. Ye god's...

i mean where is this great defense on the Lakers coming from?

Horace Grant was 35. Ron Harper was 37.

Kobe at 22 was a great athlte but not yet a mature, maxed out NBA player....Fish was a good defender- that is true....

but the Lakers scoring on that team was just so heavily dependent on Kobe and Shaq (not that thats bad)

the next highest scorer was Fisher, the next after that was 35 year old Horace Grant at 8.5 per game.

Lets say the forces of nature- Shaq and LeBron- mostly equal out- even though prime LeBron is better.

Kobe is 22....still great- but as i said- hes not prime Kobe yet.

Love would have done a great job spreading the floor--- TT and Mozgov are a nice 12 fouls to battle shaq with.

JR Smith was a role player for the Cavs but would have EASILY been the Lakers 3rd best scorer on that team.....

Shaq, Kobe vs. LeBron, Irving, Love

Fisher, 35 year old Horace Grant, 37 year old Harper, Rick Fox, Mark Madsen, Brian Shaw vs. Jr Smith, Tristan Thompson, ancient Richard Jefferson, Mo Williams, Iman Shumpert, Mozgov, Delly, Frye....

I dont think its particularly close- esp. because the Cavs had some decent fouls to throw at Shaq with Mozgov, TT, --- and the Cavs shooting is immensely better.

the PF on that team was the 35 year old corpose of Horace Grant. Love would whoop his ass. Like it or not, Love is a 5 time all star, and one of the best shooting and passing bbig men in NBA history. He would shit on Grant - esp. at that point in his career.

LMFAO the Cavs were a defensive sieve, as they had been for years when LeClown went back there ON THE REGULAR...

you can keep on reaching if you like, but if you think the Cavs had a snowballs chance in hell against that Lakers team then the only person you're fooling is YOU...

lol, too funny....

Shaq (like MJ) was one of the most un-guardable players ever.....it'd be a really good series but I think the Lakers win in 6 games.....

That squad had some good defenders in Grant, Horry, Shaw, and Fox....not to mention Kobe and O'Neal 's huge presence in the paint.

Handchecking or no?

Handchecking, Lakers.

Freedom of movement, Dubs.

Try defending Shaq with freedom of movement.

Shaq would shoot 70 FTs per game and have Iggy guarding him by the 3rd quarter

that's the funny part. he somehow thinks that LeClown and Kyrie would have free run in the paint. I ain't even gonna bring up coaching, because that was NO comparison...

the age stat and overrating is simply what Wiggy does...

Well the rules kinda play to that but they actually have some pretty good defenders. It doesnt matter much bc Kobe vs Lebron is tic for tac, Lebron being better. You have no guards to keep up with Kyrie. At least we have big bodies to put on Shaq...Mozgov. He was unstoppable but the rules dictate all matchups like this we compare. The Cavs and Warriors would be A LOT better with handchecking and the scoring would be toned down some. You think just bc the Lakers played in the times where you could handcheck they will be better...not so fast
