I don't think he tests well. He is a lot like Desmond King tbh. Limited athlete, better off ball but just an efficient mover and processes very well. A bit better athlete but not as good of a tackler or ballhawks. King shoulda been a round 2 player though.

I can agree that he won’t test elite but he is a top CB. Desmond King comparison is terrific. He had no business falling like he did and now he is one of PFT’s top rated CB and a possible pro bowler. He is just a gamer. Great comparison.

Devin White rumblings of staying at LSU. Would be a huge shock. I don’t believe it but we will see.

He’s a stud. Be interesting to see he and Isaiah Buggs and how they do with post season stuff.

Where do you guys see Simmons going in the draft ??

I just watched a few of his games, and the guy gets double and tripled teamed on almost every play

This is the best DL in NFL history so it will be interesting. He has top 10 potential. Could be top 5 imo if it wasn’t for the top heavy of the DT in this years draft. I’d put him in the 6-10 range right now.

Miss State has the best D in college football that nobody really talks about. Their D this year is about as legit as it comes.

I think with the glut of DL talent and his off field issues (from High School) he falls between 8 to 16.

I see McShay says Haskins could challenge Herbert as the top QB. I though Herbert said he was staying in school. Did something change?

I was told both have been told if they come out they will be top 10, possibly top 5, picks. Haskins is coming out, Herbert still seems like 50/50

Herbert hasn’t said he is staying in school. Scouts get the indication he is seriously considering it. Many expect that he will.

I'm not crazy about resigning Paradis .. The Top 3 centers in the NFL all make in the neighborhood of 9 million per year, and that is an awful lot of money for someone who, while he's been a trooper and has proved his worth, may not even be the best center on this Broncos team ..

Not saying Paradis doesn;t deserve to be paid - just not by the Broncos

I am not sure that changing vet WRs makes a lot of sense given all the change at that position this year. A little stability might be more valuable than anything else. I think I would stay with Sanders for another year.

I am torn on Paradis given the price tag that would come with resigning him.

I would love Hicks and Collins. Hicks injury history would be scary. ILB is a need but I was hoping Alexander Johnson could be that guy, but not a great sign that he was cut from the active roster and on PS now.

From what I have been told you can close the book on Sanders in Denver. They are hoping 6 to 8 months recovery but typically achilles take 10 to 11 months. And a lot of times guys don't come back as explosive. Denver will take the 10.25 million barring something miraculous happening.

At least that's what I have been hinted at from those with more connections than myself

I don't disagree about center but denver has some cash to spare and im a big proponent of paying your own guys if you can. Will come down to details in the contract but Paradis has been good here for a while and cheap and it would be a boon for the offense and OL if they can retain him.

Isn’t it problematic to cut him while he is injured? I think that could be an issue for the Broncos if they are wanting to cut the ties with Sanders.

They reach an injury settlement. Kayvon Webster went through the same thing last year with the Rams, right before the season started.

I'm not ready to call the books closed on Emmanuel Sanders. There is heavy speculation and rightfully so... We're going in a younger direction right now at WR, but Sanders would be huge to have around to learn from, and he really is the energy bunny of this team.

With the achilles' injury that changes things. It will really depend on recovery. If he needs a second surgery etc. I'm sure not even the team has made the decision right now if they will be cutting him or keeping him. I've helped/known players who recover from achilles injuries in 8 months then there are others who take nearly a full year, and others who never recover.

Edgerrin James and Victor Cruz are a prime example of someone who was never the same. Dan Marino recovered pretty quickly compared to the norm. (among others) So it just really depends.

Kayvon Webster had to have two surgeries on his last year and was never really good to go this year.

Remember, Demaryius Thomas tore his in February early in his career and spent time on the PUP then came back during the season. Wasn't fully healthy until the next year, but it just really depends.

As Nick noted above, the money will really be the factor. IS 10 plus mil worth giving a guy who could start the season on the PUP? If it wasn't for the injury I would fully expect him back next year to build around a young WR core, but this really throws a wrench into it.

This will be a long thought out move by Denver.

On the other hand Emmanuel Sanders could also restructure his deal knowing and understanding the injury. He isn't going to get a huge contract from another team coming off an achilles injury. I thin he will have to restructure (paycut) or take a release and sign a one year deal elsewhere.

Folks gotta remember we have a little bit of power in this one with the injury status of Sanders. He isn't going to have teams lining up throwing big money at him if he is released as the chances of him missing the start of the season are pretty good considering how late he tore it this year. Achilles' can be brutal for a career going forward, but players have come back normal from them. Only time will tell.

$6.9 MM of sanders contract is now guarenteed for injury. They owe him that if they cut him while injured
Going be hard for sanders to pass a physical for a while now
