Looking at the schedule, UVa shouldn't have any problem going undefeated through the new year.

vs Morgan St
vs VCU
@ South Carolina
vs W & M
vs Marshall

UVA, Nevada and Michigan are my guesses to go to the new year undefeated.

Houston has Oregon tomorrow night, which might end their undefeated status. If it doesn't end there, they have 8 total games before the end of the year.

Kansas has Villanova on the 15th. Probably the only place for them to lose before the end of the year.

Kansas State doesn't have any games that look like they should lose.

Texas Tech has Duke on the 20th which is where they probably lose their first game.

St. John's is an interesting team. Their next game is against Georgia Tech but after that, not very many challenges.

Iowa has nothing but challenges for the remainder of the year. Wisconsin, Michigan State and Iowa State are their next 3 games.

Michigan has Purdue and then Northwestern which might be their only challenges before the new year.

Buffalo might meet their demise against either Syracuse or Marquette.

Nevada has Arizona State next Friday which might be a meeting of two undefeated teams. It's very likely Nevada makes it pretty far into their conference schedule undefeated.

Belmont has UCLA and Purdue where they will probably lose at least one of those games.

Arizona State faces Nevada where I believe they lose their first game.

I won't even pretend to know anything about Furman, but they are playing really good basketball right now. 7 games left this year. Biggest test might be LSU on the 21st.

I won't even pretend to know anything about Abilene Christian either, but they play Texas Tech on the 20th. I believe that's where they meet their first loss.

Gonzaga has Tennessee and UNC in the middle of the month, back to back. I do believe they lose to UNC.

Loyola Marymount has a test against Boise State but from what I'm seeing, that's about it.

San Francisco has Cal on the 5th and Stanford on the 22nd. Will probably lose at least 1 of those.

In my opinion, heading into the new year, Virginia, Kansas, Kansas State, Nevada and Loyola Marymount end the year undefeated.

I know they had a close game with VCU, but St Johns has a date with Seton Hall on Dec 29th, which they should be ranked by then too, and Ponds is a gamer

Kansas probably won't lose until confrence play.

St Johns could lose almost any of those games.

Villanova beat a Florida State team that would be Top 10 if they hadn't lost to us.

It's also called respect for kicking the ass of everybody on this poll the last 3 years. Boo-ya.

Seriously tho, the polls are pretty solid this year. I look at AP and the top 10 is pretty solid. More solid than most years at this time.

I think we make it to Duke with a bagel in the L column, and then find out if we are anything to watch out for.

Then a tough start to conference play with WVU and UT.. We NEVER win in Austin, not even last year with out best team ever.

You haven’t won in Morgantown while WVU is a member of the B12.

You’ll do it this year though, we are BAD

I hope Furman Nevada and Buffalo remain undefeated until their conference tournament. That way they take three bids away from three mediocre power conference teams. Also hope the same thing happens to Gonzaga.

Gonzaga is a virtual lock already.

Assuming Buffalo and Nevada, simply finish in first or second place in their conference, they should be able to get in with a number of losses.

Furman has to do a little more.
