Picked the Ions to win 3 before the season began, so with 4 W's, they have over played this year. Guess looking back, Jim Caldwell wasn't so bad after all.

I will admit he did better today. A little more creativity. Still not enough. 3rd and 14 and calls a 3 yd pass. Also a draw on 3rd and a million. Too many stupid calls still but at least there was some innovation today.

Overall it was not terrible. Another late turnover by Stafford killed it. I understand it was a missed block but that is still no excuse to fumble. He cant help the sack but the fumble is on him.

Defense has gotten better. Gap containment was good. Only 2 plays that hurt. 1 the Rams got away holding snacks on Gurleys 1st TD. The other was our 17 million dollar invisible man falling down on that late Gurley run where he refused to score.

O-line still needs work. Probably will be swapping some players out on the right side.

Defense had a pretty good game. Harrison is a stud, hope he stays motivated and doesn't get Lionized next season. O-Line struggled today but everyone struggles against Donald.

9-7 is not winning the division. Those 9 wins included 2 wins over a Rogerless Packers team that had quit already.

Give it some time. You cant change a culture in 1 year. Caldwell had 4 years and was getting progressively worse. Not sure why you guys didnt understand that this was going to be a complete overhaul.

If Lions' ownership followed these game threads to the letter, and got rid of everyone the posters said too....there would be no coaching staff and only a 20 man roster when the gun goes off to end the game.

Anywho, Caldwell had 1 good season when the Lions still had Megatron and thats it. And that was with one of the easiest schedules in the league. He had no long term plan. He was status quo guy. He had no success without Manning either. Lions were just treading water with him. He had plenty of time to get better. They got worse
