2019 Tiger outfield....

LF - Stewart
CF - J. Jones
RF - Castellanos

I predict a lot of flyballs and singles turn into doubles and triples.

The time to sell on Kluber and Carrassco is now.

They can still compete for the division title without them. With how weak the division is, along with picking up some future pieces.

Looks like the Yankees are already knocking

"I also said the worst team in the worst division, and I was right there too.."

Wrong again
Twins .480, Royals .483,
2nd worst history w/l team in the worst division in baseball if you want to "keep it real".

"I said one of the shittiest franchises, and I was right."

In your opinion again
Since 1969 when all teams have played, odd the 2 worst teams have the most titles

Twins 2 champ
Royals 2 champ
Tigers 1 champ
White Sox 1 champ
Indians 0 champ

Since 1994 when they all actually became a division

only 1 of the 5 teams has won a WS = Royals

keep firing away, your getting to be a notch above Dougie, partially right with some creative opinions.

"Don't worry though, they'll be relevant in another quarter century or so."
when they win yet another WS before Cleveland does.
didnt the White Sox win a title?

I think the Indians should trade Kluber- they could get a ton for him since he has 3 more years of team control. He is 33 so he is getting up there- and they would still have plenty of high end starting pitching between Bauer, Carrasco, Clevinger, Bieber........McKenzie is the best prospect in their organization and he is a pitcher. Salazar is a lotto ticket with a TON of risk but still has upside.

Indians badly need some outfield help and bullpen help. Getting rid of Kipnis' contract, or maybe Encarnacion's contract, getting some good young talent would be well worth it.

I agree about Kluber.

I'd like to see them move him before the league realizes how bad his back really is.

SO...doug was right. All those years of Kluber carrying Verlander's jock, did take a toll on his back. :)

Isn't this Edwin's last season? No way they pick up his option for 2020.

it is Edwin's last season that is not guaranteed- but i think that he has 5M guaranteed next year out of his 20....so they will be basically paying him 25M this season- which is by far the highest an Indians player has ever been paid.

Combine that with Kipnis', i think 15M, and they have 40M in Kipnis and EE.....along iwth Alonso's 7, those 3 guys are kind of strangling them.

The Kipnis deal is especially terrible, because he blows. He is basically untradeable, unless they eat a huge chunk of his contract. That would defeat the purpose trying to deal him. Edwin, at least, has been doing what they signed him for.

Are you familiar w/ that Huskies Homer Alaska Guy? I'm surprised he hasn't started a thread about the Rose Bowl yet.

Maybe the Tigers and Indians should trade ... Kipnis and Encarnacion for Cabrera.
