I hope Michigan puts the hammer down in this game.

I tend to agree with you and I think Urban knew this without obviously directly saying it. I'm satisfied with the Rose Bowl. I also think the players will be pissed being snubbed two years in a row. I think the Buckeyes will steamroll and Beat UW like they did to USC last season. Haskins says he will play. That's enough for me to convince he will shred that defense.

Haskins might be the most improved QB in CFB. That guy has elevated the Ohio State game to a complete offense. Losing Nick Bosa from that great defense, I think had a big impact and there are several other injured players that take away from the depth of an excellent football team. that said, I'm not sure what contributed to some really poor outings. Just curious if there were some locker room issues the rest of us are not aware. Too much talent to be so inconsistent.

I might be making this up but didn't Kentucky beat Florida in Gainesville and therefore finish ahead of them?

It started pretty much from the debacle of Brett McMurphy bringing up the Zach Smith issue that led Meyer being suspended and missing training camp and the first three games. Add in the injury to Bosa getting injured in the TCU game. The defense lost their leader, and Meyer being gone, and leaving Day the keys to the program was a lot going on. I also think that there may have been some tension between Meyer and President Drake. I could go on and on with this, but it's been a rollercoaster ride of a season. Just want it to end on a high note.

They did in the conference standings but not in the CFP Rankings.

I'm sure the controversy at the beginning of the season had some affect but our LB play this year has been very bad. LB play has gotten consistently worse every year under Bill Davis and this year it hit it's low point. There was definitely a drop off on secondary play as well, whether that's due to the loss of Kerry Coombs, or the fact we had a lot of first year starters playing in there this year remains to be seen.

Am I the only one sick of watching Florida and Michigan play seemingly every other year in a bowl game?

I’d imagine fans would like to see their teams play other matchups...

I have to imagine Florida fans are just as bored with this matchup as we are. I'm still annoyed at this selection. We've literally never played LSU in the history of the programs. We've played Florida 3 times in the last 2 years.
