FWIW he had Profootball focus #1 RB grade last week, and was the most elusive RB last week.

Its worth about the same as the penny I dropped in the dish at the gas station a little bit ago. Pretty sure Jonas Grey had the same distinction one week couple years back

Funny.
The guys on the Bears board are speculating that Howard is replaced for 2019.
What he has done is disappointing since I was all in on him. Not sure I'm ready to give up on him for next year either.

Ya know what Joe, if you really think about it, if Nagy was gonna see that he needs Howard to at least close out games, I think he would have figured that out after week 1. Howard isn't a part of this offense. I'm holding him in the 2 keepers as he may be traded next year and I'll hold him in MBBRL as there is nothing better on the wire.

Yup. I usually watch Red Zone so I don't see too many games in full but I watched yesterday. 2 drives stood out to me in particular as far as HoJo goes. 1st and 10-Howard up the middle fer 4. 2 and 6. Out goes Howard, in comes Cohen. Both drives were basically the same. I don't think he touched the ball 2 times in a row until that last drive.......and that was 2 times................that's not gonna work fer him. Bears D has really bailed them out.

EDIT: And as a Ram's fan I think I'm fine with it as I think if they tried to grind the Rams they would stand a good chance of beating them but if they try to shoot it out methinks we win pretty handily. Trubs will be pressured there's no doubt. We have Gurley to take a little pressure off of Goff. Guess we'll see.

I didn't check the snap count, but pretty sure Howard was on the field for most of the game. I think they used him as a blocking back to help Daniels.
Of course, this doesn't justify the other 11 games for his usage. EDIT: He may be staying in to block for Trubs too. He is a good blocking RB.

I think the knee-jerk reaction is to trade him. But he has made some notable accomplishments in his first 2 seasons.

I just don't think another RB comes in and changes the offense.
Nagy will always be a pass first OC.

oh i agree with this 100 % hes good for chicago bad for fantasy plus hes cheap till 2020

Every fan wants a Gurley in their line up problem is theres only about 10 of them
much better to do it the BB way have 2 or 3 cheap good players

Here are his scores for the 9 weeks he has played. He has made every XP attempt, so no need to adjust for how varying scoring systems treat those.

It seems remarkable for a kicker to go 9 straight games without a score greater than 5 anyway.

Melvin Gordon - RB - Chargers
Melvin Gordon (questionable, hamstring/knee) is a game-time decision for Week 12 against the Cardinals.

Gordon's hamstring issues resurfaced, but coach Anthony Lynn suggested his knee injury is the bigger concern. The Chargers limited him in practice the last two days, putting his status up in the air. There's a chance the Chargers hold him out in a game they don't need Gordon to win. Austin Ekeler will be a plug-and-play RB2 if Gordon sits.

I dropped him for AJ Green in BATG..didn't want to, but, its freakin' AJ Green..but own him in two dynasties. Had to start him in one.

Great thing about Sunday ticket is being able to watch everything. But if you don't happen to be on that game when it happens, you miss the injuries, and rarely if ever catch the injury updates from the sideline reporters
