Isaiah Washington, top 75 recruit, commits to Minnesota
I was disappointed he wasn't able to land any of the 2017 Minnesota recruits. I knew from the beginning Trent was about a .01% chance, but losing Sims and John were disappointing. 2018 and 2019 with Hurt are huge for Pitino. Needless to say, so far his performance has been extremely underwhelming.
Daniel Oturu, Cretin Derham Hall, Power Forward
Daniel Oturo is good start with Minnesota kids. We can be solid program with just in state talent
We're in good position with other mn kids for this year
Really happy w/Oturo. Consensus top 60 kid. Thompson would be a nice get as well. And adding Kalscheur would be another solid player. I think we'll have 5 scholarships open for 2018, so Pitino needs a big class.
Gabe kalschuer announcement coming Tuesday. Would be shocked if it's not Minnesota leaving one scholarship left. That'll come down to tre, hunter, Llewellyn being top priority
Pitino has put together a really good class thus far. Extremely happy with the projection of the program. We needed a big 2018 class and he's delivering it. Icing on the cake would be Tre, but I'm not holding my breath on that, so I would take Hunter or Llewellyn as a consolation. The 2018-2019 team should have some really solid depth, assuming no transfers and Coffey leaving early to the NBA.
No surprise, Tre Jones goes to Duke. Figured it was a long shot, but I was hopeful MN would sneak in there. My hopes were dashed bit when Duke picked up the pressure and made him more of a priority over other PG's....but one spot to go and we're in good position with several, would like to see a either a PG or combo guard
Pitino gets his first commit for 2019
Top 100 PF
Tray Jackson, Sunrise Christian, Power Forward
Very good get for Richie. Gopher fans were starting to panic with 4 spots and no commits
He gone. Committed to Missouri
it's starting to be a little concerning with 4 scholarships open, no commits, and no real front runners

I'm starting to wonder if he's going to lean more on transfers? It may not be a bad way to go. Iowa State was really successful using that approach under Hoiberg and landing some top 100 guys along the way.
Well Pitino is back on the board
Tre Williams. Pretty low ranked recruit.
I'm guessing there are concerns with Pitino's job security slowing recruiting.
