Yeah, like most 1 and dones, he needs to mature physically.

He still reminds me a awful lot of Fox who has come on like gangbusters in his 2nd Season.

Looks like Monk is taking the CJ McCollum route this year as well.

Sexton is talented. He will figure it out.

I am not giving up on Sexton by any stretch.

But, he had some serious flaws coming out of college and they are showing. Maybe he is able to develop his skills to the point where he can become a Kemba Walker or McCollum type player. But, he is a scoring guard and does not appear to have the mindset of a play maker. Trying to make him one could actually end up stunting some of his best attributes.

I think there is also a fairly decent chance Sexton becomes a Johnny Flynn level bust.

Have the Wiz quit on their HC?

Down 15 to the Magic.

Long time ago.

How they continue to let the season play out without making some type of change is mind boggling.

Priorities should be, in this order:

1) fire Grinfield
2) fire Brooke
3) dismantle roster for picks and future assets

Levert with the likely game winner.

Nets 112
Nuggets 110

.3 left

Nikola Jokic.

What is that Joker doing?

One of the best scorers/playmakers in the league and he took a combined 4 field goal attempts in the last 2 gAmes combined.

Crazy. At least he was his normal aggressive self last night.

I've been hearing the chatter on hereabout them, but dropping to 2-9?

Unacceptable and worse than 2-7 or 2-8.

Last 2 times LeBron left a team and their record plummeted... at least there were some other roster changes to point to.

But this CLE team is the exact roster that went to the Finals with LeBron.

I wonder if any reporter has done research on how much overall cap space there will be among 30 teams vs the number of FA that will be looking for max / near-max deals.

My gut tells me we may have more quality FA's on the market than the market has room for.

If that's correct... two things could happen.

1. Some of the 2nd-tier guys with player options might figure this out and not take their option, waiting 1 more year. (Whiteside, Horford, Middleton, Millsap, Dragic, Randle)

2. We could see some contending teams get some serious bargain deals on 2nd and 3rd tier guys.

@Mecca

I heard an interesting take on your Beal to the Lakers trade idea on the radio yesterday.

They were suggesting it could be similar to Oladipo in Indy because he would be away from John Wall and his game would fit really well with a distributor like Lonzo and/or a willing passer like Lebron who demands a defenses full attention.

So you're saying the Cavs will suck out loud all season long? Can't imagine alotta folks thought that would happen. It would be pretty funny if they finish the season 2-80.

I dont see any other player ever taking that squad to the Finals amazing. I just hope they can get Barrettt or Zion to speed up this rebuild, like they hit Kyrie on the money. TT worked out. Bennett not so much
