A W is a W, but that wasn't a pretty good team. How many 1 loss teams aren't ranked? No one was buying them. Their wins were against fluff.

Obviously getting the kicker some more confidence is good. However, this game was pretty bad. At least on offense.

Bright spots: BBK was a beast again, Henry at least put a couple through the uprights (but going for it on 4th down twice inside the 30 still tells you the coaches don't trust him), RB's held up their end with Gaskin out.

That offense though....

It's a shame. I like Browning a lot because he's a solid college QB but he's a game manager. I'm not bashing him because with his arm you'd think trying out for a D2 team would be a stretch because he just doesn't have a good arm. Mediocre would be a stretch as far as arm strength goes. But he turned himself into a solid game manager with a lot of smarts playing for some very winning teams. Everything else on the team looks like it's championship caliber. Just need a guy with a strong arm.

Think we're gonna know early how this one is gonna go, but I don't trust the UO D for anything after that Furd game.

Which one of these two teams gonna show up, tonite? I know Pullman will be electric & Cougs will be fired up. UO has a tendency to come out hot, dominate and take crowd outta game, only to see their D shyt the bed in 2nd half and bone themselves in the keister.

If Oregon loses tonight it means a three way tie for the PAC North ... Stanford, Washington and Washington State.
