Francona has been an absolute clown come post season time the last few years.

Way to use your best starter in relief every game!!!

Good value on your mid season reliever trade!

Even if they win this game they now have to throw Kluber on short rest.

It's pretty funny listening to people claim all Astros fans just jumped on the bandwagon. In the last 30 years they've played .500 or better ball 20 times and made the playoffs 9 times. During that time, 2 MVP's 2 Cy Youngs, 2 Rookie of the Years, 2 World Series appearances, 1 Word Series win. Since we moved out of the shitty Astrodome, we've finished in the top 10 in attendance 7 times. Outside of a handful of baseball teams, I'd stack that up with anybody over 3 entire decades.

Given Kluber's playoff track record, we all know how that would end

Exactly so not having Bauer start one of these games is mental.

And he went to Miller/Bauer in the key spots last game. When he could have stuck with Carassco or used the guy they traded for.

Astros much better and more composed team. Once again the Indians forget how to pitch and play defense when it actually matters

I feel like for as much of an advantage it is to be in the AL Central, it’s also a disadvantage. Indians’ batters have seen nothing but shit pitching over the last month, then they’re slammed into facing a top rotation.

Same thing happened last season.

Sucks.
Precisely. Every year offenses look lame in the playoffs, because the pitchers are all good and the pen means you never see a guy more than twice.

This is how a team like the Giants can win 3 outta 5, their lineup wasn't much but in the playoffs their dominant pitching was what mattered.

That's why the Astros and Brewers are looking the most formidable right now.
