I figured as much. Watching that game they said he was dealing with a neck issue, figured with Michel going, White doing his deal, Edelman due back soon, they'd IR him, even if it wasn't serious.

Well, another dynasty trade gone sour - but at least I don't have to worry over which NE RB I should play. ... thank goodness for IR spots - mine are filled already.

Report: Rishard Matthews done with the Titans

Rishard Matthews has reportedly left the Titans and does not intend to rejoin the team.

Matthews' playing time has been scaled back significantly under Mike Vrabel's new coaching staff after he missed the entire offseason with injuries. He indicated Wednesday that he is upset with his usage. "I’ve been the leading receiver for two years," Matthews said on Instagram. "Then all of a sudden I’m barely playing and not even starting. Using my injury as the scapegoat. Look at number of snaps and targets." Matthews is an above-average No. 2 receiver, but the new coaches have no attachment to him. Expect more-explosive Taywan Taylor to benefit with increased playing time.

Freeman's "expected" yards per carry sits at 3.6, thanks to facing an average of 7.4 in-box defenders. Freeman has been 0.6 above that expected, which is the seventh-best mark at the position. The 49ers' Breida leads the category at +4.4 (8.7 YPC, 4.2 expected YPC). Freeman is a fringe flex option during bye weeks, assuming Lindsay sustains a large role.
