Today in practice. Almost icing the 12 best players Hak. So close. Interesting that they've switched Lindblom and JvR. Wonder if that will show some better chemistry. I wonder what the extent of Knight's injury is.

Didn't watch last night, but sounds like it was mostly a clunker outside of Vorobyev continuing to be awesome and Ghost/Provy looking good.

I like Laughton a lot. I think it almost doesn't matter who you put with Laughton and Raffl, that will be a good 4th line.

Sanheim will get there. He's still in early pre-season mode because of the injury. It sounds like he played better as the game went on. I think by the end of the season he'll be the Flyers 3rd best dman without much argument.
Yes i forgot about Vorobyev he was one of the best players on the ice. Ill have to trust you guys on Sanheim.

Like i said i see him as a 4, 5 not a top pair defender but i hope i'm wrong and he turns out to be Chris Pronger reincarnated.

I don’t think he was ever looked at as a 1-2, more hopefully a 3-4.

Well, they are marketing the shit out of it, so a lot of attention is therefore being brought to the sport and the team.

I am hoping for an early Christmas Present and the Flyers lock up Provorov before the season starts

I think we all hope that this guy is a Flyer for life, but that would require him to sign at least twice more after this next contract.

Win some Cups in the meantime and he will be more likely to stay and for less money too.

Give him the same type of deal they gave Ghost

That would be great, except I'm not sure we want to give him a shot at unrestricted free agency around age 27 or 28 and I'm also not sure he will take just $4.5 million per for that many years.

For Provy, I would expect a 3 year bridge deal to keep him a RFA, then sign him to an 8 year extension for much bigger money when he is 25 years old. I'm pretty sure he'll be solid until at least age 33. It's a safe bet, to me.

Should we read anything into Weise and MacDonald being tonight’s scratches? I would LOVE to see both of them waived and sent down.
