Dang. One pint short of our season average in scoring. Good job, good effort. 13.6 points per game. Dak with two picks today! His QB rating up to 54 from 21 in the first half. We looked good in that 4th quarter. If we could only play against a prevent defense playing up 18 with less than 13 minutes left to go.

This is what happens when you hang on to a head coach too long. Dak keeps playing like this he will not get that long lucrative extension.

10 out of 12 games under 200 yards passing. Houston we have a real big problem.

The ol is still above average. Dak holds the ball too long. Cowboys will need to look for a new Qb during the off season. If I am the owner I don't pay big bucks for mediocre Qb play. Dak is simply not that great and it seems he has not recovered from the beat down he took from the Falcons last season.

Zeke is such a dumbass.
Anytime he is near the sidelines he steps out to catch the ball.

Also didnt realize just how bad Dak's pocket presence is.

I would be on board with firing JG after today. Team has been sloppy, not ready to play, just like week one. Promote Richard, see if he can light a fire.
Dallas has a defense, and Irving is coming back. Now for the hard call.. Dallas has a ton of FA money for next season. We have to pat a QB...no one ever said it has to be Dak. QB and WR are pitiful for us right now

Big Red and Linehan have to go. There is a body of work here that extends 12 games.

1. Evidently Zeek is a dumbass for stepping out of bounds too much
2. Im a dumbass for feeling C isnt crucial to success

But what about all the Cowboy fans who said Dak is as good or "slightly better" than Wentz... are they on the dumbass list too?

if you are starting to realize importance of center, I can consider Dak making a bunch of cowboy fans start looking like dumbasses LOL

but to be fair. many of us said we will see in the 3rd year.

I just can't understand the reluctance to run the football early in the game. RUN TO SET UP THE PASS! RUN TO SET UP THE PASS! Instead Linehan and Garrett have Dak coming out throwing early and often. It is absolutely maddening to me that the coaches can not get this through their head, it's like they forgot the formula from 2016. I understand the line is somewhat diminished from then but the coaches refuse to pound the rush.

Zeke had a couple lapses today, like stepping out of bounds or dropping what looked like an easy catch and run, but I don't fault him too much for the fumble. On the fumble Zeke was just trying to churn out a few more yards. He allowed the ball to get a little too far away from his body, but looked like he had an otherwise good handle on the football, credit to the Seattle defender for making a nice play punching the ball out -- Pros on both sides of the ball. Overall Zeke was not the reason this team lost.

Seriously I want to see Scott Linehan fired this week. I don't care if Garrett goes back to calling the plays, it can not be much worse than this. Linehan has become incredibly predictable.

Yeah... but no. Its nice having a star at any position and Fredricks is definitely a star, but I'm still building my team worrying about QB, LT, RT, DE, CB, WR#1, DT before Center.
But there is no way in the world Dak has the ability that Wentz has... and its really not even close. Im looking at another Dallas site right now and half of them are screaming for a new QB. We sure arent doing that in Philly.
By the way... Philly is really REALLY close to being an 0-3 team.

Dak is a 4th round mediocre NFL QB that outplayed his draft position during a magical year where there was no tape on him, he had the best o line and 1 or 2 running back in the game to go along with a hall of Fame tight end and a true number one receiver. Fast forward, and the onion is peeled and you have a 4th round QB who has progressively gotten worse.

The knock on him coming out of college is he struggles when pressured. Year one the run game and OLine really protected him and he played great. Dont really understand whats wrong cause I thought he was going to have a bounce back year. I was worried about the lack of WR's but Manster assured me and 3rd round pick can put up 70 catches and 900 yards like Dez no problem.

That was hard to watch, but I still did to the bitter end.

Here's my take aways (which I offer mostly to rant and not necessarily to give you guys any information that you can't already perceive for yourselves)…

1) The team was unprepared to play that game. The front seven on defense played tough and fast, but the secondary was absolutely clueless and out of position on half of the plays, especially when in two-deep safety formation.

2) We are still trying to be a pass happy team instead of running the ball down their throats. I mean, WTH, Zeke was averaging over five yards per carry midway into the third quarter (he finished with almost 8 ypc). No, not every run is going to get that much, but if he averages that much then the chains keep moving and it opens up the middle of the field. The play calling is horrendous. We should run at least 60% of the time. Instead, it was closer to 76% pass - 33% run. One could say score had something to do with that, but it was that way even before the Seahawks went up by two scores.

3) Sad to say, at this point, Dak appears to be incapable of being anything more than a game manager. He may yet be more than that and even now he can make a play or two in the game, but he's just not consistent enough either in pocket presence or in his accuracy to be balanced in our offensive game plan, and certainly not lopsided toward the pass.

4) My guess is that next week we will see about fifteen plays in the first quarter and a half that keep the Lion's defense on their toes, but then we will play the next six quarters with this same typical obvious play call: run on first, pass on second, and then run if three yards or less or short pass across the middle if more than three yards on 3rd.

5) For the first time in Garrett's tenure, it seemed that we actually did make some adjustments at half time, but they were too insignificant to have any real outcome on the game. On the first sack we saw two LBs blitz the QB, but then we got burned on it the next time as there was no one to cover the RB coming out of the backfield.

6) I'm really sick of seeing Garrett's uninterested blank stare from the sidelines when the offense struggles to move the ball. I would love to see even a small glimmer of passion in his eyes at some point, but that just isn't who he is. He can't get Linehan to mix things up more because there is never any urgency to him personally. I think there is something to be said for being calm and collected, but sometimes a bit of fire might actually have an impact. Honestly, though, I don't his mindset is any different than Linehan's when it comes to calling plays.

7) I don't think having Dez and/or Witten would have made a hill of beans difference in the outcome of this game. Yes, there is little offensive production, but that is due, IMHO, to the lack of creativity in the offensive scheme. I mean, would it take that much mental effort to try running the ball twice in a row to keep the defense guessing?

8) Until Travis Frederick comes back, this O-line is just mediocre. There are times when it opens a big hole for Zeke, but the pass protection is breaking down too quickly. Another reason to run 60% or more of the time.

Overall, that was U-G-L-Y.

BTW, had ET III been on our team instead of theirs, I don't think the outcome would have been that different. That's speculation, though.

You were worried? Really? You were worried that Dallas might not have decent WRs?

Get out of here with your patronizing BS and your sarcastic trolling. All you have come to do is rub in the faces of Cowboys.

Your M.O. is boring.
