I know Rodgers is a great, great QB, and why he's a future HOFer. So when he came out in the 2nd half ready to go, I had this sinking feeling. But there's no way we should have blown a 20 point lead, especially how we were playing for most of the 1st half. Got a little too cute with the gimmick plays, our pass protection was less than ordinary, and Fangio seemed to play prevent D for the entire 2nd half. Bottom line, the Pack made the adjustments, we didn't. That falls on Nagy and the coaching staff. This was almost more disappointing than if it was the status quo where we usually get our clocks cleaned by the Pack. This one's gonna sting for a while.

I agree, if for no other reason than when you're the HC, the buck stops there. But I wasn't too impressed with Fangio's coaching in the 2nd half as well. As I mentioned in my initial post, it seems like he was having the team play prevent D the entire half.

Bottom line is we need more out of the passing offense or this team will be mired somewhere in the range of mediocre. Trubs at some point is going to need to "grow up" with the weapons around him. We don't have first round picks to expend on adding to the team- so the pressure has got to be on him in the interim; and Nagy by extension.

We're all super pissed, but I don't think it was doomsday out there. For much of the game, we played pretty damn well. Shit, we controlled the clock for more than 33 minutes. That was definitely a winnable game. Not going to take away anything from GB for one second, but that was a winnable game against a good team, quite possibly a playoff team. Even tho we choked, we were in it all the way. The team will learn from this. Adjustments will be made and I'll bet anything that the Bears will be more than ready next Monday night when they face the Seahawks.
