Good comeback today for the team. Down 7-1 and came back to win 9-8 vs. a good Braves team.

Matter of fact, if the yanks somehow made it out of the 1 game playoffs, I would go with this rotation for the ALDS.

Game 1- Happ
Game 2- CC
Game 3- Tanaka
Game 4- Sevy

Severino ERA is at 6.33 in 8 starts since the AS break. If Lynn and Gray were not so bad, I would even say he should be sent to the bullpen for the playoffs.

Severino can;t get out of the 3rd. His pitching in the 2nd half of the season single-handedly ended any hopes that Yanks had of winning the WS this year.

If the Yanks had first half severino to go along with Tanaka,Happ, and CC then I would have felt like a WS title was pretty possible this October.

Having 3 starters who can go out there and shutdown an offense is critical. The 4th guy doesn't need to be as good as the other 3 but needs to be good enough to keep you in a game in October and give you 5+ IP....This is obviously CC role.

Nah Severino got tired like some young pitchers do.

You know if we had cut Gardner and Ellsbury had come back and found his magic Big Papi milkshakes again and put up a 30/30 season from the lead off spot. Because we all know that he did it one time in his career so if the Yankees would have just let him play he would have done it again and again, we would have won the WS.
