Still a couple questions left with about 25 games or so left.

Where will the WC be played? It might suck getting swept and then having to return to the scene of the crime so quickly.

Also if the current trend would hold NY may have to watch out for TB last 10 NY is 5-5 while Tampa is 8-2. I could see NY playing .500 ball the rest of the way but no way TB plays .800 ball. One can hope

Boone continues to struggle managing a bullpen. I know AJ Cole has been pretty good, but he's not the guy in a one run game, especially when you have rested quality arms ready to go.

This team's achilles' heel from the beginning has been defense, and unfortunately, they're not getting any better. Fundamentals are seriously lacking, and the responsibility for that falls on one guy.

Oakland looked like the better team yesterday, pretty much from the first pitch to the last out.

You could have Brooks Robinson as your manager, he isn't going to teach Didi how to be a better shortstop. Or Andujar. Or Sanchez.

You could have Brooks Robinson as your manager, he isn't going to teach Didi how to be a better shortstop. Or Andujar. Or Sanchez.

Call me crazy, but when a team plays bad fundamental baseball, which the Yanks have all season long, that's on the manager. No, you can't teach someone to field like Brooks Robinson, but you sure as hell can teach them where they're supposed to be on the field in specific situations. Which base to throw to, where to position for cut-offs, etc. AKA- the fundamentals.
