Oakland's pythag is 63-52. Hopefully they'll start regressing to that soon.

A's have overachieved, but as I said in another post, they're +63 since the beginning of June. I wouldn't lump them in with the Mariners.

The Mariners were always fool's gold. Teams playing at a 100 win pace with a negative run differential are not going to maintain that pace. Their actual play is of a sub-.500 team.

Word. They also faced a very soft schedule in the first half.

You could have saved some Mariners fan from looking like a dipshit on the 2nd half bold predictions thread. Someone predicted the A's would over take SEA when they were something like eight games back, and the Mariners fan was all, "I know you're not that smart, but if we just go .500 for the rest of the season, we'll win the wild card." Two weeks later, they'd coughed up their wild card.

I love that shit.

70-43

Indians are 68-45. Oakland's 63-52 and Seattle's 54-61.

Yeah, but the indians will get shut down for three or four games, and then score 15 in the next. It's frustrating.

Spread that shit out, muthafuckas.

Whatever, the AL could have three 100+ win teams and some 87 win team from the NL will win the World Series anyway.

I can't really figure out the Indians. They are built to be a very dangerous playoff team. But they have been very uneven this year despite playing in a really weak division.

A closer look shows they've made their bones against the dregs. A very impressive 43-11 against teams under .500, but 25-36 against teams over .500. Even Seattle (just barely) has a winning record against winning teams.

They did take 4/6 from Cleveland and took 3/4 in their recent trip to Houston, though they did get swept in Colorado.

Thank God for that weak division.

Offensive has been all over the board. April, it ranked 25th in runs scored, May ranked 1st, June ranked 18th, July ranked 1st again.

If their offense is firing and they can get some stability in their bullpen, I think they're on par with the best teams in baseball, but those are big ifs.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Indians were the same.

Where'd you find that info?

So, Miller just pitched an inning and did give up a hit or walk.

Could be a light at the end of the tunnel, though it was against the Twins, so we'll see.

Kluber, on the other hand, gave up 4 ER. They need to put his ass on the DL. I don't know why they're fucking around. We'll need a health Kluber for a meaningful playoff run.

Gave up 4 after being staked to a 4 run lead. Very unlike him. Severino still sits alone with 15 wins, at least until Porcello tonight. Seeing as how the Red Sox NEVER LOSE ANYMORE
