Doesn't change what @nynasty is saying about rest in the playoffs when it comes to Tanaka. It is no secret that he performs better when he gets an extra day of rest. It isn't a secret that there are rest days in the playoffs.

In a best of 7 series, tanaka can start game 2 and get an extra day of rest before starting again in game 6
