This is how I see it. Ok I love TT, the hustle, defense, rebounding but we need offense on this team. Korver is useless on this team so he doesnt have a factor.

As much as I dont like Whiteside’s effort at times he is a boost on offense even with lack of minutes and more of a rim protector. Worst case, he sucks and the Cavs suck and they lose his contract after 2019 and they get a better draft pick bc the team does worse. The TT contract goes off the books after 2019 as well but his potential on offense and block is much lower. Honestly, for the Cavs I dont see a downside to this trade even though I am not a fan of Whiteside

Oh, we know he's smart.

He's too smart, that's always been the problem.

All I can say is if Whiteside ends up in Cleveland we'll need a bigger popcorn machine. And to make @WiggyRuss go into 100% meltdown mode Pat Riley needs to be part of the deal.

I mean, I like the deal for both teams.

Tristan will gladly do all the dirty work for the Heat without bitching about minutes or shots, like Hassan.

He could Shag rebounds and then go home and shag Khloe....

Let's not forget, he'd be trading the Ohio Winters for South Beach. So, I'm sure she'd be on board since she filmed her reality show in Miami for 2 Seasons.

The upside to Whiteside is 100x greater to what Tristan offers.
