i have a dilemma here, as i figure a lot of others do to. if you're a fan of a school like bama, michigan, usc, notre dame, tosu and texas that over a hundred years of competition. with great players throughout. i can give my favorite players list, but who's to say if they're "The Best"! my list, is an actual list, not just 2 or 3.

johnny musso, derrick thomas, shaun alexander, cornelius bennett, jay barker, david palmer, javier arenas, julio jones, john hannah, ken stabler, a j mccarron and this goes on n on n on

Well, shit. Just pick 3. You must be fun to go to Golden Corral with.

Page is a great pick. He is my quintessential example of everything that can be good about college athletics.
No doubt. All American. All pro and a long and illustrious legal career.

Fine choices to be sure. However, I'll go with
  1. George Gipp
  2. Johnny Lujack
  3. Raghib Ismael

I almost put Lujack over Quinn. But hard to pass on the career stat leader in the most important position at the school.

For me, it's easy to pick Lujack. He was a two-way player (as they all were back then), won a Heisman, and won a couple of Nattys. While Quinn was a good college player to be sure, he had more games in which to amass numbers and wasn't as dominant a force in the game since he only played offense.

Granted, Quinn never tied Army 0-0.
