2018 NBA offseason

The NBA has really done a great job of making the league a year round league. The season ends, the draft occurs 3 weeks later, 2 weeks later free agency begins, a week later Summer League starts. And all of that happens with their only competition being baseball.

On the flip side, and this is just as it relates to me, I generally don't care what happens during the Fall for basketball. I'm too entrenched into football, particularly college. That's when my posting on here drops, but then picks up in January.

That's fair. It's not so much that I don't care. I'll still watch games. But my attention is definitely focused on football. Mainly pro for me.

I was listening to the radio yesterday and they said if the NBA had a shorter schedule where teams only played 2x per week, it would be more popular than the NFL.

Not sure how Kaufman determines that Tatum slaughters him. It was essentially a marketing video by Drew Hanlen's Pure Sweat. They didn't show either one of them miss. Tatum, Embiid and Mo Bamba were doing one on one training. The video did suggest that Embiid absolutely torched Bamba.

But it was cool stuff. The whole video is cool stuff. Hanlen has been trolling Sixers fans with Markelle Fultz stuff. Last week he Tweeted "Get excited Sixers fans".

Embiid has fantastic movement skills for a man as big as he is.

You could tell they were both having fun with each other. The two most impressive shots were Embiid's behind the back dribble drive to the hoop and the pull back Tatum did that they slow mo'd. That was just crazy ankle breaking footwork by Tatum.

Really? Everything I've heard about Isaac is that he might be the best player at Summer League. The Ringer guys were gushing over him yesterday..

I heard they were probably going to trade Gordon since they absolutely think Isaac and Bamba could be an amazing combo.

both those guys have all kinds of size and athleticism and perimeter skills...Orlando might have some decent building blocks for the first time in a long time. Isaac was definitely raw when they drafted him but the talent is there.
