more likely Baker Mayfield or Myles Gareet- the last 2 #1 overall picks in the NFL.

The Browns have promise and hope the Indians can break theough and win a World Series soon. They have a young, promising team it’s just there are about 5 other teams that are the same. The league is stacked with young talent in baseball.

what did durant get for this year?

He's getting around 30M for his max this year for a 1 and 1. If he opted for a 2+1 which people thought he might, it would have had a base salary of 35M+ this year. Saved a ton of money on tax for the Warriors.

oh yah.

The Indians are great and still have Kluber, Lindor, Ramirez and many more for the long term. They will be good for a while yet.

the Browns are finally turning the corner.

the dirty little secret about LeBron and basketball in Cleveland is that the VAST majority of sports fans still lists basketball as #3 in the city.

the Browns are EASILY EASILY EASILY #1 for most (not me). Its not even close. It was, has been, and always will be a Browns Town 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

the Buckeyes are still the Buckeyes.

yah...that 5 million discount saves them probably about 20M+ in tax.

I think in the repeater, at that rate, the penalty is 4.5x

who is the face of Cleveland sports now?

my candidates would be:

1. Baker Mayfield
2. Francisco Lindor
3. Myles Garrett
4. Jose Ramirez
5. Corey Kluber
6. Kevin Love

It's Baker Mayfield without a doubt.

I don't see how they make the finals.

If they make the 2nd round with a roster of LBJ and no other stars, that would be a success in my book.

I think conference finals if things break right is their ceiling but I expect a 2nd round exit currently
Agree.

That was Wamu's point.

The Lakers aren't making the Finals.

Nooooooooobody is predicting nor expecting that.

So, it was odd that Wiggy keeps mentioning it as if it were expected.
