Tonight, at 7:13 CST, my wife actually made a fucking decision and bought a vehicle! Praise the great lord baby Jesus! I have climbed the mountain. I have braved the darkness. It's over.

Not that it matters, but she settled on a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The quest is completed.

She's gonna love it. It has a very refined ride yet can go anywhere. I get 30mph and it has a 25 gallon tank...very convenient.

Does it feel like your riding over boulders like many Jeeps?

Absolutely not...feels like an Explorer but a little smoother and more refined.
We test drove them both and wifey and I both preferred the GC...but the back was a couple inches too small for our double stroller at the time. So, we got a GC when the kids got out of that stage.

The ride is nothing like the loud, rough and bouncy Wrangler...although I heard the 2018 Wrangler is totally different and rides much better.

IT'S FINALLY OVER!

chased a grounding gremlin in my 79' R100S BMW motorcycle away this morning.

turns out to be a bracket for my ignition module (electronic ignition) that was broken and not grounding properly.

only took 2 years to find.

going to have to have the bracket re-welded, built a temp support bracket in the mean while to be sure that that was the problem. Bike runs like a bat-outta-hell again.

She seems to love it so far. Not really my style tho. I don't like the little 4 cyl engine, and the transmission takes some getting used to.
But, it's her vehicle not mine. I'll stick with my Ram 1500 Hemi.

Electrical gremlins are frustrating. I usually end up selling and letting someone else worry about it.

Uhmm...Grand Cherokee, or Cherokee?

Grand Cherokee is 3.6 Pentastar (V6) or a Hemi (V8).
No little I4.
