They were sticking with it on defense & not giving him easy buckets. Looks like they watched film from the Pacers/Cavs series.

I think Pacers did a good job on defense but they couldn't score at times & thus couldn't pull out enough wins because of it.

That gritty Celtics D just wears him down though.. This may be his last great offensive display. Lets not forget he basically disappeared for most of the game offensively after the first quarter.

Toronto doesn't play D. So that doesn't really count

Stevens deserves all the credit he's getting, but this Celtics team has far more talent than I think they get credit for. That includes me 3 days ago.

Now add Irving, Hayward, and another year of growth for Tatum and Brown...scary

Well that was certainly impressive. Maybe the most impressive game this season. The Cs take a full Lebron punch right on the chin in the first half, everyone and their mother sees this is going to be a Cavs win, yet they make adjustments and absolutely wreck Cleveland in the 2nd half like it was game 1 all over again. Agree. I said before the game that it was must win for the Celtics because they don't want to lose HCA.

If the Cavs win both of their home games, it's back to an even series with the Cavs still needing to win a road game.

It's going to be very difficult to win 4 out of 5, but it's not like it hasn't been done before.
