it does say for student athletes but does not say anything about recruits. getting in, it appears, is harder than staying in.
everything you have posted, which really is the same thing over and over, is after admission. admission standards to get in to Stanford are different than other schools.
WTF do you think a football recruit is? It's a student athlete for fvks sake.

They aren’t a student until they are enrolled in the school. A recruit is not a student at the university.

True and in order to be eligible at Stanford in regards to being a student athlete you have to meet the NCAA academic requirements. It's a myth about having to be super intelligent in order to play football for Stanford.

NO those are the requirements of the students already at Stanford. those are only applied after admission which is different set of qualifications.

Please post something about the ADMISSIONS standards, you do know that’s different, right?

Let me put it in a way you understand. When you are looking through a brochure for a mail order Russian bride you say the minimum cup size is a B cup, a C cup comes up but you say no those boobs are too small I want her to have a D cup.

look at things like this

UW-The average high school GPA of the admitted freshman class at University of Washington Seattle Campus was 3.75 on the 4.0 scale indicating that primarily A- students are accepted and ultimately attend.

Michigan
  • Grade Point Average of Enrolled Freshmen (4.0 scale) Average GPA. 3.84. 3.75 and Above. ...
  • SAT Scores of Enrolled Freshmen. SAT Math. 670-770 range of middle 50% ...
  • ACT Scores of Enrolled Freshmen. ACT Composite. 29-33 range of middle 50% ...
  • Other Qualifications of Enrolled Freshmen. High School Class Rank. National Merit Scholar.
Stanford-The average high school GPA of the admitted freshman class at Stanford Universitywas 4.18 on the 4.0 scale indicating that primarily A students are accepted and ultimately attend. Given the school's very highly selective admissions, acceptance at Stanford extremely difficult and unlikely even with a 4.18 GPA..

Do you seriously think Stanford's admission standards for it's student athletes such as its football recruits are the same as non student athletes? Unless the non student athletes only have to meet the NCAA academic requirements then I'm going to go out on a limb and say .. no they are not the same.

you can keep posting the same thing (and we all know you will) it doesnt change that these are the requirements of the Student Athlete already enrolled at Stanford NOT those for a recruit who is NOT YET a student athlete and must meet separate ADMISSION requirements BEFORE becoming a student athlete at Stanford at which time these standards THEN become applicable.

Do you actually believe that their ADMISSIONS standards are the bare minimum for any college athlete?

RECRUITS AREN’T STUDENTS!!! Buying a lottery ticket doesn’t mean you are a millionaire.

While I agree I don’t believe it is the same standard as regular students, I believe it is ridiculously higher than most universities. This is old but proves the point. Please post something that actually refutes actual numbers of ADMISSIONS STANDARDS.
