Foles is far from the worst of them...in the right system.
That has to be weird for the Vikings. They were in the NFCCG and yet all 3 of the QBs on their roster are FAs.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of deal Bridgewater can land. I can't see a team committing a lot of money to him long term until they see if he can still play. Maybe he is Minny's backup plan in case they lose out on Cousins?
I would also take Alex Smith over Keenum and Bridgewater.
I mean sure...but my point is that out of those 4 QBs he's clearly the worst one for them to pursue.
well alex smith was a one year wonder with last year being the outlierthat statement right there makes you insane. You take a one year wonder and compare him to Alex Smith. What hate you have. It so obvious.
the FO panicked and jumped the gunWell, to be fair he isn’t an option... yet. If a deal fails to transpire with KC, I would imagine the Vikes will resign at least 1 of the 3, my $$$ would be on Bridgewater.
And if Teddy hits FA, no guarantee he will sign with Washington, assuming we were even interested. Have to consider he is also risky proposition despite his upside. But there would be other teams interested in TB as well.
The FO took the safe road to bridge the team into the next young QB. A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.
Would it shock you?? Really??

and peters was around yet we made no attempt to get him included which would have made this trade completely different in my eyesAgreed. And lost a very promising CB and a 3rd rd pk in the process. Yay Bruce!
Yes it would be shocking. Griffin is not going to be a Redskin ever again.

Again our team motto....."If we haven't screwed it up...Wait."
I'm not a Peters fan, but yes, that would've made the trade a different animal. As it stands now. It looks like Reid proposed a trade to get Smith and what it would take and Allen simply jumped on it. W/O giving any thought to how to make it a better deal for the Skins.

Miami should know by now that Tannehill was a mistake. If they don't admit it soon, it'll cost Gase his job.MIA is in cap hell and probably not going anywhere next postseason with their bloated roster.
I would look to shed Tannehill's salary and bring home Teddy (on a cheap deal for 2 yrs) and find a cheapish backup in case Bridgewater blows a casket.

Easy my friend, there were posters here wanting our team to get him back in 2012. Yeah, he would have been cheaper to get than the guy, well actually both guys that we did get, but, it does look like the results would have been the same or similar long term.
with a team built around him , take a piece away and he falls down . example last playoff game . i was told by you and others in the SDFC that i would get a guy who could "carry a team " CDC is not that guy .Wrong ALex smith has proven that he can win over multiple seasons.
