-Not being the starter/playing when the team wins
-Getting hurt and the team not missing a beat without you
-The pinnacle of his career, hes on the sidelines, watching his back up light it up
-Feels like he didn't "help or "do" anything to help them win
-General feelings not deserving the championship
-Pressure to win again(which is obv hard)

just a few things i thought of, could make Mr. Wentz a little jittery next year, and lose some confidence

All good points. I'm going to add motivation. Seeing what Foles and the Eagles accomplished, Wentz will probably be hell bent on having a successful rehab to get back on the field and try to lead them to a repeat.

Not even remotely is Foles a threat to Wentz's starting job.

Not sure why not, he just won 3 playoff games including Super-Bowl ... You don't go with the popular choice, you go with winning...

After the performance Foles had in the post season there has got to be an open qb competition. He was clearly the MVP of that game

Lol, Foles went toe to toe with the G.O.A.T. The defense was nonexistent for either team

U wouldn’t be upset if u didn’t get to participate in the biggest moment of players career, not one ounce of th playoffs as u watch u back dominate? Inside it would eat at me

Upset is not the right word, but I think get where you're coming from though....he was injured so that should take upset out of the equation but any competitor wants to be on the field, not watching his backup win a SB or lose one.

Personally I would trade Foles...obviously one reason is he's about as valuable as he's ever going to be right now. Secondly, it reinforces to Wentz that the Eagles are his team...if he starts slow, or he's not as effective as LY, you don't have Foles over there and the fans start clamoring for him...then you could have some trouble.

Here’s the perfect answer to this silliness outside of Wentz being a lot better. There’s a thread on here discussing if Philly might be able to flip Foles for a 1st. We could get 4 firsts for Wentz. Just listening to ESPN radio recently and the topic was, “Who would you start a franchise with if you could have any player in the league” and they all said one player (and it wasn’t Foles)

There’s not. Not even a tiny chance Foles beats out Wentz

I would think it would be just the opposite with him. Work harder and do better type of thing. He is a hell of a competitor and would want to prove something to himself and then to others. Also, at this level of competition the jittery thing goes away for the most part, IMO.

No professional athletes see sports psychologists? Hmm I guess at the pros there’s no jitters
