I don’t think OT should end unless both teams have had a chance to possess the ball, except if the first team allows a score on a turnover. In college they start at like the 30 yard line or something. In the NFL just have a normal kickoff. After 2 OTs make 2 point conversions mandatory.

Or maybe have a “5th quarter” that’s like 10 minutes instead of 15 minutes.

I’m just thinking out loud.
