Oh I got that. But to me saving $5M against the cap and basically starting over makes no sense. Reality is, they should have had a QB NOT named Colt McCoy on the roster in the event we got to this point. If we had a young guy learning, the idea of McCoy starting would not worry me as much. I'm not a fan of starting McCoy. But he at least has been here the past few years, and a Bridgewater, Bradford type move just reeks of well at least we didn't cave in to signing Cousins long term.
Oh yea I mean all of this is assuming TB is cheap which I may be totally wrong about. If hes gonna cost us a solid chunk of change just draft somebody. Im not throwing money at unproven QBs (which is ironically what started the belief im a kirk hater lol - see Im consistent!)
I dont mind drafting a guy and rolling with McCoy as long as the FO wont hold it against Gruden if we go 5-11 with McCoy.
Bradford I dont like and would agree it seems very ABC. Bridgewater I still think at a good price represents a chance for something new and good without tearing everything down but again I may be underestimating what he'll cost.
