I don't think Cal is on the list, just UGLY, ND, and USC. Cal played Weber State this year.

If the SEC can play FCS teams and they are still a top conference why not the B1G seems like the big games end up hurting them sometimes. Play a couple mediocre to lower P5 schools and a FCS school for OOC and they will be golden.

The Big whatzis never stopped playing FCS teams. They were fazing them out, but not forcing schools that already had them on their schedules to drop them. This past year they decided its okay to schedule an FCS opponent in the years that a team has five conference road games - essentially stating that playing an FCS game at home is equal to playing a Big 10 team on the road.

Absolutely true, but last year they would have been out if they hadn't played Oklahoma. And who knows this year if Oklahoma hadn't played tOSU would it have been Clemson, Georgia, tOSU, and Alabama and left Oklahoma out?

I still think if you are good enough to win the National Title you want those Big OOC games, the win can put you in even with a dumb loss to an Iowa or an Iowa State.

My suggestion for the PAC12 would be two permanent rivals, three pools of three play two each year and rotate.

Pac has tricky stipulations like all 4 cali schools play every year no rotation. Northwest 4 play either UCLA or USC each year no matter what. always have Cal and Stanford but one is always away so that NW schools get at least 1 game in Cali for recruiting. I believe the other 4 south teams also have a stipulation into california.
as for NW schols playing SW/mountains i dont under stand the rotation as it is

Anything can happen on the road. When Iowa faced BC it was an even match and they pulled it out. Ohio St just got drilled on the road. It happens. Iowa poured it on


Yes yes pillow fight as I said. ACC coastal wasn't great this year.

Not pimping them at all. Do you know that you can compare two things without "pimping" one? The B1G West wasn't great at all, but they were well ahead of the ACC Coastal. By a landslide.
