That's all fine and dandy to say, but you're acting as though there's an even circumstance between Michigan and Clemson/Bama. Both of those schools have a top 15 recruiting average the past 4 recruiting cycles. Again, Michigan struggled because of the senior and junior classes ranked 37th and 20th in those rankings. There was a void of talent left by Hoke's last year and Harbaugh's first class which he had 3 weeks to put together.

And Michigan was able to reload.....on defense. On offense, we struggled to replace pretty much everyone and then struggled more because of injuries. I'm not sure how often I can point that out. Once Harbaugh has had the time to build up the roster like Clemson, Bama, OSU or any top team that can consistently win -- then this problem shouldn't exist.

I'm not saying we beat OSU this year, but Michigan should be able to come out with more than 8 wins. I think we have a good shot at going into the OSU game with a chance at the division like we did last year.
I agree. If Shea is eligible to play next year, michigan will win 10 games. The OSU game will be huge. If Peters plays all year, I don't see it unless he makes a major leap.

Top 4

1) Wisconsin
2) Ohio State
3) Northwestern
4) Maryland
5) Michigan State
6) Penn State
7) Purdue
8) Michigan
9) Iowa
10) Nebraska
11) Minnesota
12) Indiana
13) Rutgers
14) Illinois

1) Taylor might be the best back returning in the country. They don't need a great passing game and their defense and OL will still be great. Their defense is built for the run and will help vs the run happy B1G West.

2) They are also returning a really good RB and they are probably deep in talent. The back ups tend to find a way to step up. It is hard not to put Ohio State in Top 2.

3) Thorson returns and Larkin will fill in for Justin Jackson. Larkin won't be one of the best B1G backs, but him and Thorson combo will make that offense tough to contain. Fitzgerald seems to have a dirty defense, but they still get the job done.

4) The Terps are my surprise ranking. They were 11th in the B1G in scoring and 11th in yards. But I think Pigrome and Hill returning from injury, that offense will look impressive again. I think the defense will be a little better. They will be a really good trap team. Surprise 10-win team.

5) I think Michigan State will finish worse than they should, but still be around 9-10 wins. I see them in the B1G East hunt in November, but I think they will have a few games that the ball bounces their opponents' way. Lewerke and Scott will be another deadly combination.

6) I put Penn State at #6 with Saquon Barkley going pro. If he comes back as a senior, then I would have Penn State #3. I think that is how much Barkley matters to that offense. But I think they will take about half a season to get back to the new rhythm.

7) I think they will be a lot like this season. I do like Brohm at Purdue, but I don't think Purdue will be a 10-win team yet. Returning Blough and Sindelar will be huge for them. Losing Mahoungou will hurt them some.

8) I am not sold on who they have on the team yet. They will be good, but I don't see them in the B1G East hunt in November. They will have a strong defense though, so they could be better than 8th.

9) I think offense will be better and will be strong in the trenches but losing Jewell and Jackson (I based this ranking as he is going pro) with have a weak spot in the defense. Defense might wear down during the game next season.

10 & 11) I think what Frost has to work with will be better than what Fleck has to work with. I also think Frost will get Nebraska in the division race in November before Minnesota does.

Yeah, I see a lot of really good classes that preceded the good things that happened at OSU and Alabama. I am realistic -- I don't expect Harbaugh to become the next Saban. But I think he absolutely has a chance to win a national title while here. And next year should be a good one for us. That first class that finished top 10 will be juniors or RS Soph.

I agree.

All of Nebraska’s losses were because they could’t score enough points in a certain part of the game.

Like the first 60 minutes.
That's all...should be a simple fix...yes?

You still have Western Michigan, SMU, Rutgers, Indiana and Maryland...So you're guaranteed five. Nebraska probably can't write the ship in a year, so call it six.

That leaves you Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Northwestern and Michigan St.

Michigan St, Northwestern, maybe Notre Dame and Wisconsin...probably toss-ups. You should have more talent than the 1st two, but that has been true before and you still fucked it up.

I don't see you hanging with Ohio State or Penn St.

I see you going anywhere from 2-4 to 4-2 with the top half of your schedule.

You might get to 9, maybe even 10. Another 3rd place finish. Another 9 mil down the drain.
You act like we've been completely outmatched for 3 years. There's only been two games under Harbaugh in which Michigan looked overmatched. It was PSU this year and OSU his first season. Last year Michigan was like 6 total points away from being undefeated, including a questionable call at OSU that determine that game. Yeah, we've lost a lot of close games under Harbaugh, but to suggest we're not event going to hang with PSU and OSU is silly. We beat OSU for 3 quarters with O'Korn. If we get good QB play, which we will, it's going to change everything.

There's no clear-cut fourth team, but teams that will probably be in and out of the top four from one season to the next include: Michigan St., Iowa, Michigan, Northwestern, Minnesota, and eventually, Nebraska.

I don't chase intellectuals...and none of them have ever been accused of being an Einstein... of course they seem to be more intelligent than some of the Michigan posters on here

CUM can't maintain for long. He's had stability for the last few years with several players, including JTB. But when his shit goes off the tracks, it's gonna be a disaster.
I don't see OSU winning the B10 in the next few years.
