Let's see, we had the controversy over his transferring to OU, getting arrested, DUI, running from the cops, planting the OU flag at midfield at Ohio State, and now this incident at Kansas. Each time, he made a weakassed apology. So, he's either a jerk, a badass, a weakass, out of control emotionally, or a very bad liar, since he seems good at apologizing for things he's not ashamed of doing, well, until he got caught.

Pretty sure there was no apology connected with his transferring to OU, as there was no reason for one, but really weakassed apologies?

Maybe you can tell us what constitutes a non weakassed apology?

Just checked 3 mock drafts, all from November. Only 1 had Mayfield going in the 1st Round. That was to Pittsburgh as an eventual replacement to Ben R. One mock draft noted that Mayfield appears to have the tools, but that teams are afraid of his attitude.

Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold , Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson all went before him in the mocks. Just interested in some comments.

Meh, they change their “analysis” right up to the moment the draft starts. Mock drafts had mixon going undrafted last year. They’re useless.

Being insulted as a "little dude" is a huge compliment, my friend. We win more games and place more top players in the pros, year after year, with that mentality. The ones who ought to be ashamed are programs who have 10 times our budget, and more prima donna players than the Metropolitan Opera, and still can't get the job done.
Aren't you embarrassed that "little dudes" keep owning you? Take Kansas, they won't ever come close to OU, but now, thanks to Mr. Mayfield, every athletic team in Lawrence will post that picture on the team bulletin board. Your basketball team is toast for that game.

You need to clarify this....in Sept 2017, bsu has 21 players on opening day rosters, 37th on the list led by LSU at 51.

I don't think that the AD at OU has any interest in doing a home & home, well, ever, so we'll take the win we have. You have to understand, that win was worth multiplied millions to BSU, they've been in the top 25 at some point every year since, and year after year, considered a top group of five program. As long as "best games ever" in CFB are discussed, BSU beating OU will always be in the top five. So I love seeing OU getting beat by anyone, and I get particular pleasure at watching their best players act like fools. Nothing personal, but it's fun to watch OU fans have a cow everytime the subject comes up.

Face it, the heyday of BSU football reached it's zenith with that victory over a decent OU football team.

Impressive for a school in Idaho who plays in the MWC.

Comparing them to major programs seems stupid. They've only been in the top division since the late 90s too.

And why would BSU take a 2 for one with the last game in Boise and a buy out clause for that one? We may have been born in Idaho, but not yesterday.
