Are you sure that's a game day photo. Those sidelines look clear of any football stuff.
UCF is averaging anywhere from 35 to 40K a game in a 45K stadium.

OR is that from a couple of years ago when they were 0-12?
AVERAGING??? HAHA no they are averaging 20k a game in a 45k stadium they are LUCKY if they can fill it half way! they will maybe sell out the USF game and the CCG tickets.

End of thread

Frost is GOING to Lincoln.

Knoxville and Gainesville get to fight over the other guy, Jim Leonhard from Wisconsin. Since all Wisconsin DCs leave to go to other schools.

Actually, Wisconsin head coaches leave to go to other schools. Christ to either Tennessee or UF...

UF kills Tennessee in the academic rankings .. it's not even close. A boiled peanut would qualify for Tennessee.

Sounds like a perfect fit for Chip Thug U. Kelly.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Frost stays put at UCF. UCF has the potential to be a sleeping giant, especially if the Big 12 expands and extends an invite. He can squeeze another $2M out of UCF to stay. NU will never see the 90’s again and the expectations will be unrealistic. He has zero pressure at UCF and is in Orlando, in a State with fertile recruiting grounds. Why leave that?

Not that I think it's a bad idea for those yokels to bring in a Yankee to right their sinking ships.

I just don't think they'd have deep enough pockets to sway Frost from trying to do what nobody but Tom Osborne has done.
I dont think Florida is doing as well as Nebraska, especially since they havent updated facilities in..... FOREVER. in 2014-2015 we had 4.1m surplus in 2015-2016 we had 8.4m surplus dont know 2016-2017, but those two years we werent getting close on B1G money, this year we are a full share member and stand to get 40-50m compared to 18m and 22m in the previous two seasons i saw numbers for. Pretty sure our surplus leaves us with quite deeper pockets, not to mention the new adidas deal, we wont even have to put our hand out to boosters

Frost has his pick of any open job in the country and no way does UCF pay P5 money ... especially the kind of money the B1G and SEC schools are raking in atm.

I've really just been trying to troll all sides in this thread. Lol

Other than when I said I'd be shocked if he went anywhere but home.

The BIGW is a great place to set yourself up for success. And with all the TV money, Huskers being the only FCS in the State and his own personal ties it just makes too much sense.

I'd have to assume boosters would be more apt to shell out for Frost than anything they've done before.

They can't.

Even if they did, he'd have to be tied there personally. Hell, Fleck took less money to go to Minny last year. Cuz you can't stay at a MidMajor unless it's your MidMajor.

Yes you make some strong arguments there too aside from the money.

B1G west is already there for us, we already recruit at the same talent level or better. Oh and we didnt fire a coach and refuse to pay him too, that helps. Frost is the only coach out there who will get the patience of Nebraska fans. Especially after this Train Wreck of a season, really only way to go is up! 2018 wont be easy and nobody in their right mind thinks even if we had Saban Meyer and whatever dream team of a coaching staff (not either or but all of them) there is no way they will take this program to the top in 2018, the kids we have need mentoring and need an ass kicking. If it came down to it (pretty sure boosters are already writing checks to the what if department) Boosters would be more willing to write a check for frost, but i dont see the need for it but hey if they is offering why not take it right?

The only thing Florida has is Recruiting Florida..

Florida puts on the training wheels and the leash.

I think Frost at Nebraska gets no leash and no training wheels. I would imagine it would be part of his deal to let him do it his way, without interference. I cant see Florida agreeing to a non interference clause in the contract.

He already makes more than a lot of P5 coaches. Hell, all UCF has to do is give him an extra $200K and he’s making more than Riley at OU.

He learned college football from TO.

Who doesn't like seeing someone come home?

Oh I’m sure he will. Was just pointing out Frost is already making more than a lot of P5 head coaches. Plus, why would he want to take a major step down in his career by going to NU?

Step down? Lets see potential is already greater at NU than will ever be at UCF in the G5, facilities are better, being home and every other reason ive listed already in this thread proves that it is a step UP. Keep trying donger

Ha ha, delusional at best. The potential is not better in Lincoln. Frost has access to better recruits and it’s not close. Plus, UCF will be joining a P5 conference. He basically has the same opportunity Gary Patterson had at TCU. He will be able to compete for NC’s and conference titles at UCF. He won’t have that opportunity at NU. Those days have been gone for almost 20 years now and are never coming back. He’ll be fired at NU within 5 years for not winning more than 9 games, never winning any conference titles, never going to any major bowl games, etc.

Really hard to imagine him going anywhere but the dumpster that is Husker football.

The dude isn't just a former Husker, he's a natural born son. And they need him.

:nono:

That’s an insult to dumpsters everywhere
