Thoughts or sugestions on Elliot replacement and K Benjamin trade

2 questions wondering thoughts or suggestions on what you would do. I am having a good year and my opponent this week is not in the top half of the league but each week most anything can happen.

I have Elliot on suspension my other starting RB is D Freeman. I did pick up Alfred Morris several weeks back in case this happened. I had seen recommendations that he was a better one to have to replace Elliot.

My other running backs are McKinnon on bye, and Chris Thompson from the Redskins,

Do I start Morris not really knowing how much he will get the ball or Thompson from the Skins? I was leaning to Thompson.

My other situation is at receiver. I do have D Watson as my QB throwing to Fuller which has been productive

My other receivers Are D Adams with Green Bay, Funchess and Benjamin with the Panthers, and Shepard with the Giants who has been out a few weeks but will be back this week and will be the #1 target in NY.

With these players I need to name one RB, one Rec, and one FLex

I was thinking of starting Thompson at RB with D Freeman , Adams at Flex and Benjamin at the other Rec with Fuller.


Now with Benjamin most likely not playing in Buffalo on Thurs would you start Funchess or Shepard coming back after not playing for 3 weeks

I'd go with Thompson and Funchess. .... I'd give Benjamin a week or so to get accumulated. ..

I'd go Funches. His workload should increase a lot. Who knows if Benjamin will even play since its such a short turnaround. I have him in one of my leagues and it just so happens I'm forced to go with him since every other WR I got is on a bye. If he plays, I feel like he's gonna be TD dependent. Like if the Bills get in the red zone, they'll throw some jump balls his way but I doubt he's gonna see a lot of receptions this week.

making this real easy on ya - we're all picking different combos, lol

just feel like Shep and Funch will be safer plays than Adams with Hundley and Benji getting traded and playing on TNF

Im gonna go crazy out on a limb and say that Rod Smith in Dallas emerges as the best back in Dallas

You can get him for nothing this week, but we know how one good week changes things

Alfred Morris is a guy that should have retired 3 years ago, I expect him to offer nothing

They dont like Mcfadden for one reason or another

I think they are gonna use Smith more and more each week

I am back and forth between Mack and Drake, but with Drake being a relative unknown, Mack is the safer bet.

Yeah, I think the Mack role will continue to increase each week, and Houston is proving to not be the same defense with the losses they have suffered

Drake has a really sweet matchup, but just so hard to figure how that rotation goes.....Watch Williams get the bulk of the work just because thats how shit always goes in FF

took the gamble in a couple leagues.

drake claimed on waivers or people spent a good amount of FAAB on him, I picked up williams this AM as a FA in 2 ppr leagues.
not expecting a thing, outside of prob cutting him within a couple wks, but who knows

I like Benji is Buffalo, but not this week. SO that leaves me with starting Brate or Westbrook in my WR/TE spot, unless I grab someone off waivers. Leaning towards Brate though....he seems to be putting up WR4 pts as a TE.

Olsen on his way back, but Samuel could be a solid "Hold"

Interested to see this week how much they use him with Benjamin gone

Yea I am letting Morris sit this week to see just what they do in Dallas. McFadden has not been active and Morris has had limited carries. But figured I better pick him up in case. I added McKinnon when the Vikig rookie went down and he has been good but on bye this week. It looks like I will try Thompson this week with D Freeman and see how Dallas plays out down the road and keep an eye on Smith
