Kirk did every thing they bitch about. He put the team on his back, and put them in a position to win. Put up what should have been a game winning throw. Sadly, his WR let him down.

Yep - hopefully Doctson builds off this one. I am not too upset with this loss. I am more worried about all of their injuries - the bye week could not come at a better time. Hopefully the key players come back soon. Nice effort by Cousins.

No worries - IMO Cousins really proved himself tonight & it is something to build off of at this time. I also think that with every week it is becoming more likely that Cousins stays in DC for a long time.

Yep - time to come together as fans on this one. Barring an injury or huge setback Cousins appears to be the leader of this Redskins offense (for now & the future) & we need to rally around him & not worry about past criticisms or more of this silly talk about the Redskins selecting a QB high in next season's draft. It also does no good to complain about other Redskins players. Pryor, Doctson & others will either prove themselves in the weeks ahead or else they won't have much of a future with this team. Hopefully it is the former.

OK, full disclosure.. five minutes after the game.

But still think he punked out and took his hands off the ball. Secure the catch and we have an 80% chance of winning that game. Hold our first round WR to a higher standard. We drafted him to be a play maker after all. The play was there for him to make, and he missed the play as apposed to taking it on the pads and holding onto the ball.

BTW - We are a little past the 1/4 mark of the NFL season. Let's review Cousins in terms of how he fares thus far in comparison w/ other NFL QBs since he is deemed middle of the pack & not franchise QB worthy by many.

Brady, Rodgers & Brees still rule in this area & thus far this year Alex Smith & perhaps Deshuan Watson have joined them (hard to tell for rookies since things can change as the season progresses). Cousins has not done too bad & should certainly at least be in the top 10 for QBs thus far.

At this pt he is certainly playing better than supposed franchise QBs like Eli, Big Ben, Matt Ryan & Rivers as well as up & comers like Winston & Mariota (due to injuries). He still has to prove that he can win the big games (did all he could in KC but they lost due to others). He will get his chance in a few weeks vs the Eagles. We will see.
