No it wasn't. It was facilitated by his own stupidity. By being a whiny bitch about the stupidest fucking thing ever, and doing it in every forum and sub-forum across the entire site, all while shitting on said site and its owner.

He facilitated it, and he alone.

And btw, he isn't banned, he was here after the draft. He chooses not to be here. I prolly would too, if I pulled that shit.

I never said he was banned, and I even brought up that he was here after the draft above.

There were certainly people here who gave him a lot of unnecessary shit, over just football stuff. I honestly barely remember the end, but I posted with him for a long time... and I know for a fact that Cubz was a very good football poster and that's a hill I'll die on any day of the week.

I also thought highly of Cali and think he was a top poster. After posting with a guy that long you start to feel like it's a real friend. No doubt he had a bad day that day but fk who hasn't had that kinda day once in a while. No reason to quit posting. My strategy after a bad post is to make the next one even worse so they forget the first one, sure it's a never ending cycle but I'm still here. Just like my Bears there is no expectations placed on me. PS. this strategy also works on the ladies.

Maybe, but none of that had anything to do with "the end". He had a hard-on for the site owner for whatever reason, and decided to post some bloviated diatribe all over the site regarding him. It was completely off base, unwarranted and downright stupid af. He plastered it in damn near every forum. It was suicide by stupidity and not much more. As far as all the "help" from others he received in his exit? Well, that tends to happen when you advertise your asinine complaints across the whole site.

I don't know anything about other forums. I just know Joey and others here really went after him football-wise. Also, they antagonized the shit out of him in the final thread he posted (before coming back on Trub night) on this board.

I realize there were other elements in play, but I really don't care much. I liked the guy, even if he slipped up. Ten years of liking a dude, and respecting his posts doesn't just vanish because he once tripped over some stupid shit.

I liked Cali too.

His flame out was self induced tho. You can't possibly expect folks to respond in a kindly manner to that shit.

He basically called the site owner a gunt for posting a tweet regarding adam podlesh in a thread dedicated to adam podlesh. Called him out for trying to generate revenue by posting punter click bait. LOL. It was super-retarded, and he doubled the fuck down on it, by copying and pasting it across the entire site.

No way you can blame folks for circling the wagons, when you all but beg for it.

Cali was a very good football poster, and probably brought better insight than anyone here.

His "flame-out" as you call it, was facilitated by a lot of "faggotry" coming from others as well.
True.

Adam Podlesh had been an incessant dick for years.

I mean, fair enough. I know that was all weird. The owner here pays his own money for the domain property, there is nothing wrong with him trying to generate traffic. It's not as though he made some pledge to the board that this was all completely non-for-profit.

I'm really just saying that I'd welcome him back. That's all.

But not as much as Paul Edinger.

Fuck his couch.

I've sometimes looked for a video clip of him hitting that long field goal to eliminate the Lions from the post-season. I can never find one.

Took a lot of effort to scrub that from the web.

It's okay... we all have our Week 17 heartbreak stories.

We can all LOL at the Vikings over this.

And you can LOL at us over this.

And this...when Christian Ponder somehow beat Rodgers to get in, and knock us out of a WC spot

This isn't the place, but did you know the Lions have 4 NFL Championships, with just 7 playoff wins?

Yeah, they've won three playoff games that weren't for a Championship. That's just stupid. And are on a nine game losing streak.

Yeah, I know they won a few NFL titles back in the day. The most famous one being the 57 team. I also know the only time they sniffed the Super Bowl was in the 90's, when they went to an NFC Title game with Barry Sanders. It seems they never have the right pieces at the same time. Hall of Fame RB, but no QB. When they have a top offense, they have a horrendous defense. When they have an elite front four, their secondary is horrible. So on and so forth.

One day, you have to think the stars will align. I am to the point, however, where I don't think it happens under Stafford. Unless they work some magic in the draft the next couple of years.

No way I live long enough to see them in a Super Bowl.

There's just no way it's gonna happen. Tbh, I don't think I've ever even daydreamed about them going.

Had they kept Suh, I'd expect to see a playoff win before I die. But idk.

Horrendous draft. Emery should have been more pro active and move up in both the first and second rounds. St Louis had the draft I wanted. Fuller will be a solid player but he doesn't play defensive tackle. And as far as the rest of them outside the first round, terrible picks. Emery is clueless, he really is. Once again our free agent signings will cover up the mistakes made in the draft. Terribly disappointed.

Back in 2014 The Genius predicted that draft was a horrendous failure and that St Louis took the DT we should have moved up to grab--that DT being Aaron Donald. Also The Genius says Fuller is the only good player drafted. Of course, the board thought I was wrong. Yet, here we go again, i was right again.

Nothing changes in Chicago except the wind.
