4 runs in 8 inning is a 4.50 ERA. It's not even a quality start. From a guy who's supposed to be a super-duper-mega Ace, I'm fine with calling that postseason performance a bed shitting.

Further, He gave up 5 ER in 9 IP in that series for an even 5.00 ERA. That might be satisfactory for a UofM fan, but it doesn't fly elsewhere.

His 3.39 postseason ERA is massively skewed by his two starts in the 2013 ALDS.

Look at his postseason ERA on a start-by-start basis, and you'll see that he shits himself more than he doesn't.

Has Verlander been lights out in the playoffs ... no. Has he sucked in the World Series ... yes. Is he still a good pitcher ... sometimes. Is he as good as Kluber right now ... no. Does he have a hotter girlfriend than Kluber ... I don't know, I never seen Kluber's girlfriend. Is Kluber gonna win the Cy Young this year ... I hope so, I cant stand Sale.
