In regard to odor and his situation, we've seen time and time again the downside of having a " players" oriented manager. I'm sure everyone remembers the year Wash kept trotting Murphy out there because he was " one of his guys" despite the fact that Murphy could barely even make contact and showed no signs of breaking out of the slump. If you combine the ineptitude of the hitting coach iapoce with odors stubborn temperament, I think we are looking at a long season for odor.

The ironic thing is Wash made the opposite mistake in Murphy's early days here. He would sit him after he showed he was hot and play Andruw Jones instead.

Hey.....it's a long way from here to there.......Profar may yet prove his value, even to this franchise! Not just a trade-able factor.

Gotta say, in spite of me not being in EA's court for years, for the last 1 +, looking pretty good....Really seems to have assumed the "post" Adrian Beltre leader both on/off doesn't he?....Which is worth a lot IMO.....Especially in a system that seems to embrace "the team first" attitude.

The White Sox are a fantastic team to work any right hander against... We'll be sure to pad those K stats for him.

On the other hand, a bit of a poor team to work a southpaw against.

I suppose that's what happens when every good bat in your lineup is right handed. However, the White Sox case is an extreme one. #1 wOBA vs LHP... tops in K's vs RHP. All right handers whose splits are drastically better vs LHP. Abreu, Frazier, Avi, Anderson, Davidson... etc... all these guys have been mashing lefties and whiffing vs righties.
