When it's all said and done and the details are all released I actually don't think they're going to be as lopsided/Vegas friendly as what we've been hearing.

That sentence is awfully awkward, but I think you get the meaning

It made perfect sense. You might be right but I do hope we see a bunch of GM's giving up asinine levels of payment to protect average guys when these same loafs won't make an in-season trade to help their team if their lives depended on it (ie: Bergevin saying in Feb., when his team were top of the division and rumoured to be interested in a very-available Matt Duchene, that he wouldn't trade Sergachev and then trading him in the off-season anyway).

I would've at least demanded a top 3 draft pick in the first year.

I think I heard that discussed recently in the cesspool (in fact, I think I heard that they should have asked for/demanded the 1st overall pick in the entry draft). I think Bettman feared the blowback from the other owners if he would have given Vegas that pick.

yah it was yesterday when they talked about how Vegas "won" when the league decided on these parameters of the expansion draft ... that the league wanted to give them a better chance to succeed as a franchise than they gave Atlanta ... not only are they able to *stongarm* teams that fear losing players but they might be able to pick up guys that they can spin off at next years trade deadline for high-ish picks

Martin was not exposed, he is safe.

Since childhood I have never been able to write or say the word "expose" without thinking of "The Champ".
