Steve Kerr has the all time highest 3PA % in NBA history. Tony Kukoc was a pretty damn good player. So was Horace Grant. And Dennis Rodman.
Ehh, but those first 3 bulls teams were not stacked in any way. Horace was the only one that was a solid consistent contributor. The last 3 featured more names, but those names were role players that were good at their niche

Yeah, the Celtics are so bad that they have beaten the Warriors on their home floor back to back seasons. Same for Cleveland. And just beat the Cavs on their home floor despite the fact that they're missing their best player.

Yeah, they really suck.

I guess things like coaching and hustle and ball movement and hard work don't count for anything.

I love seeing some hustling out there and good ball movement.
See the post where I said the Bulls beat Cleveland in all 4 appearances this year. at the regular season in the NBA

By their comments, they were more upset by his radio silence on the whole thing than the fact that he left.
Either way it was his decision to leave & not comment on it. So, they're still stupid for letting that ruin their relationships.

Honestly, could be.

It just seems so petty.
Very petty. Maybe it hurt more because LBJ was the enemy at that time??

So in theory Ray Allen did it before KD did?

He most likely took less money because slightly more money with Boston wasn't worth playing for a team that didn't respect him and have fights with Doc and Rondo. Dude sacrificed more from his game than any of the BIG 3. In the end it's a business and he made a business decision and left. If he could I'm sure he would've stayed with the Bucks his entire career if they would've let him.
He made his money.

So, yes.

He made the right choice.

Plus, people who really care about you are okay when you do what's in your best interest.

Durant should have been man enough to tell Westbrook he was leaving.

Outside that, he doesn't owe him anything.

Ditto for Ray.

I'm sure none of those guys went to Doc when he was trying to trade Allen.

Not sure why he was required to show blind loyalty to those not loyal to him.

So, if you had the opportunity to move from your current job to a job that was going to pay you more. provide, a much better work environment and give you a better chance at success...you'd be a puss for leaving?

I love the "job" comparison with more pay, better environment, etc. :trash: The dude was up 3-1 and they didn't get it done. It's not like his "company" was doing bad.

If you want to compare it to job success it's more like not closing the deal when you had it and then you let it slip right through your fingers...

Oh and then after YOU let it slip, you jump ship and go to the competitor that actually won the business. I would get no respect if I did that in my industry.

I can tell you I compete at a high level in the Oil & Gas industry with a shit ton of competition. I win some and I lose some, but there's no way in hell I go to my competitor that's handing me my ass.. but that's me.

I would rather go to a smaller company and try to build something.

The early Bulls teams didn't face great competition either. Two hall of famers can carry you a long way at that time.

That Bulls team had 2 Hall of Famers that were on the all time 50. What other teams in the league could say that at the time? The Celtics had a geriatric team by that time. The Pistons were still good but getting older.

The early Bulls championships were during a time of transition in the league. The big bad teams of the 80s were fading away and the new challengers were quite ready to challenge(ie Pacers, Rockets. 3 teams won titles in the 90s. 4 teams won titles over a 13 year span.

Yep.

I said this very thing months ago.

The consensus was: It's not the same because Allen was past his prime.

:noidea:

I can understand that to an extent...I guess.

I hear ya. I never had a problem with him going to Miami because he had maxed out in Cleveland, and recruiting players to play in Cleveland was damn near impossible. And it wasn't as if he was riding coattails to a title like Durant is doing. He was still far and away the biggest reason they won in Miami

Biggest reason Bron left CLE is Bosh.

Bosh wouldn't sign with CLE. If he would've, Bron never would've left.

What other team had 2 HOFer's that were on the top 50 list? The team MJ & Company beat twice, the Utah Jazz.

The only thing I don't agree with is KD having to say anything to RW before he left. That was his decision so he really didn't have to tell anyone. If he decides to say something then hats off to him but if he doesn't no one should be mad enough to hold a grudge about it.

Paxson, Kukoc, Grant are role players. Not even all stars. Rodman was at the end of his career, who couldn't get you a bucket if his life depended on it. Certainly nothing like having Irving, Wade, Bosh or Allen. All future HOFers on you team.

The East was weak when Lebron took that first Cavs team to the finals. Why couldn't Jordan of done that exactly?

Rodman led the league in rebounding every year he played for the Bulls.

"End of his career"

He played with that man for damn near a decade and claimed to love him like a brother, his words.

That was cowardly.

Eh, maybe he already knew what his reaction would be...clearly RW isn't the most mature dude.

My bad. Didn't realize that. I thought you meant all the teams the Bulls faced in the Finals.

And they had the #1 pick the year after he left, with the worst record in the NBA

Which was the real point

They didnt' have the worst record in the NBA either.

You do know know that there is an internet where you can learn the truth if it's not too much of an inconvenience.

Jordan went and played basesball, the Bulls were a Kukoc jumper from going to the ECF against the Knicks

Lebron leaves Cleveland, they win the lottery

And Jordans Bulls would mop the floor with any of those Cavs teams. Especially the one that you're talking about.

What is your point?
