I can understand spelling Banister with two "n"s when you are accustomed to using his nickname Banny that is spelled with 2 of them. I have probably done it a few times myself. It is no biggie to me kind of like it isn't a biggie for folks to call Delino DeShields DDJ when he really isn't a junior.

Funny thing to me is, Reddit has a bot that will automatically reply to any post that spells it "Bannister" and remind them of the correct spelling.

Actually he's right.

You missed this yesterday. When I mentioned, again, that he consistently misspells Banister's name by placing an extra N, he responded that he did it on purpose as some sort of bizarre protest of Banister until he wins some playoff games.

Last September we signed a young Cuban player named Yanio Perez.

He was the Rangers minor league player of the month in April. He is currently slashing.356/.429/.630 and may be on his way to another player of the month award as his stats are currently barely below what they were at the end of April. He plays all four corner positions, but mainly at 1B and RF currently. He also played 2B in Cuba. He is 21 and is playing for the Hickory Crawdads. Last night he hit his 9th HR and he also hit a triple.
