Just for arguments sake, id love to know what Tom Brady or most QB's would be doing with Philly Brown and Ted Ginn as his top 2 wideouts

Im not even a huge Cam fan, but considering his surroundings this season, he should be in the conversation

The team is having a great year. But Cam is having a pretty pedestrian year. 81 passer rating. 50 QBR. 53% completion percentage.

You forgot Greg Olsen.

Congrats to Tom Brady, btw. Is there some sort of award you get for being the half way through the season MVP?

Not forgetting Olsen, the only target on that team any QB would even want

That may be true but not sure that really bolsters Newton's argument.

Again, i dont even like the guy as a player, but i have to admit, he isnt that type of player that can be measured in stats alone......I kinda see Russell Wilson in that same lens, that added dimension with the legs, keeping plays alive, a lot of winning qualities they have that you dont see on a stat sheet

why?

you just made my point.

So Doug Gabriel has his worst season of his career in New England, and thats the same as Ted Ginn and Philly Brown having their best seasons with Cam Newton?

There's a local high school QB with more talent than Tawm Brady.

If 100 NFL GM's were building a team, all 100 would choose Blaine Gabbert over Tawmy, maybe even Kaepernick.

That, gentlemen (and I use that term in the loosest possible context) is just how insufferably bad Brady is.

The Pats are so loaded with coaching and talent that they can win in spite of his abysmal play.

I love these 100% hypothetical threads. Last time I checked they don't give mid-year MVP's.

It's just an excuse for Brady fanboys like rock to crank their tool's while perusing Tommy's stats.
