This was Alex's best play of the game. Sad.

Smith didn’t play well. He’s not healthy. This was good. But his second TD was better. Maybe the experience to draw them offsides was the best, and maybe the other play was sad, but the TDs were good, not two yard drop offs taken to the house.

Of course, I wish he had gotten it to Sims the play before. I wish he had not thrown it high to McKissic. I wish McKissic didn’t drop the 3rd down on the next possession. Even though it wasn’t a good throw, I wish the defender didn‘t trip Thomas on the interception with the ball in the air. So Smith didn’t play well, this game or the season, and may be too hurt to do so against Tampa. But these few plays I wish changed And otherwise ok. (Yes, I know, take a few plays away from any team and it looks this way.)

That way we wouldn’t have all the Philadelphia tanking talk. Hurts was 7/20 for 72 yards. While susceptible to runs like the two TDs, Washington defense wasn’t just going to roll over.

Will be interesting to see if the Skins move up for a QB. I like to think the Skins will trade up for Lance or Trask. There's a ton of WR help as well.

I am so happy for the Redskins. I believe I was one of the few that believed RR would get the Redskins to the playoffs THIS YEAR! Now if we can somehow hide Snyder in the same CIA-run halfway house as a host of politicians, the Redskins may just go pretty far in the playoffs. Maybe!

The Jazz got Gobert and Mitchell from Denver Nuggets. (I don’t know if you follow the NBA.) So there’s a running joke, despite Denver eliminating them from the playoffs, that they are a good trade partner. I might be wrong on the Mitchell part, that may have been Hayward, but I think it was Mitchell’s draft pick and Gobert himself.
