Health is needed, but a FG on those two TDs Smith threw would be a 17-12 loss. Not saying what would happen with a different QB, because maybe they throw three TDs or INTs, but with conservative play for the field goal drives, which to be honest Smith has done often in his career, Philadelphia gets the ball back after the FGs just the same and goes for the FG when up 14-12.

Maybe a different quarterback doesn’t get Philadelphia to jump on fourth and one? And I think at least one of those interceptions is shared.

But health is key and if Smith can mentor, great. If not, Rivera will roll with someone With that defense.

Will be interesting to see if the Skins move up for a QB. I like to think the Skins will trade up for Lance or Trask. There's a ton of WR help as well.

With the resigning of Chase I can't see the Skins going OL...

I was listening to the post game show and many were mentioning RR and Smith, what they have gone through and how that has helped all of them to be a better team and to work hard. DH missed the memo.

We wasted a month on Dwayne Haskins, Troy Apke, and Ron Rivera not coaching to win by not calling timeouts and going for two in NY.

This is a 9-7 football team. We'll see. No matter what happens, tonight was a big step.

It was an ugly win and some will rightly say this didn't mean anything. All they are gonna do is get blown out next week. Maybe that's true, but losing a game like this would have said so much more.

At the very least this keeps Dan at bay for another season or two.
