Kemp's 3 years in Cleveland:

18 pts, 9.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists- all star game

20.5 pts, 9.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists

17.8 pts, 8.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists

as i said---- he DEFINITELY wasnt "prime Kemp"

but he was far and away better than the trash that @msgkings322 mentioned... i mean- not even in the same stratrosphere.

the 20.5 points was actually a CAREER high for Kemp.

I am sure thats what you are and every Celtics fan is hoping- because if LeBron resigns for another 2 years--- LEBron will be leaving/retiring right when the Sixers are ready to smoke the fucking Celtics.

the Celtics window will be non existent.
They need a PF in the worst way.

If Embiid can stay healthy, you might be spot on about the 6ers.

Don't sleep on the Deer if Parker can stay in the floor either.

I like the moves the Celtics made, for the longterm.

That Team had peaked.

But, I don't know what they will be next year.

Top 4, probably.

But, top 2?

No....I don't think so.

They lost a ton of defense.

i didnt know 18 and 9 and an all star appearance was "shit".
Well, apparently your nipples get sensitive when someone disagrees with your drivel.

For 100 million dollars, he was a shit signing.

Drunk, coke head, baby making disaster and you are bragging about his signing.

Gmafb....

And apparently you don't know the difference between signing a free agent and trading for a guy. So the whole discussion about Kemp is moot. My post dominates, Cavs have never brought in a star FA (bringing back LeBron doesn't count here). You started it re the Celtics and then you fucked it up by talking about Kemp.

It's over, you lost this one.

Generally it's correct to assume Kemp was banging everybody wherever he was.

Ah.....I missed that part too.

I guess my reading comprehension is slightly deficient.

1. LA got politically slapped. Thats all, that is all. The league needs the Lakers to succeed again

More or less agree. I think that the punishment fit the crime. They were warned, they violated the warning, but there's no evidence of an agreement of any sort between PG and the Lakers. I agree that the league is better if the Lakers are relevant (especially with the Celtics also relevant). But I don't see the league looking the other way if the Lakers are dumb enough to tamper again.

2. Sorry, but Magic johnson and the LAKERS are an very attractive locale in the next few years for FA's.

Magic is very charismatic and many NBA players are still kind of in awe over him. He can very well be the "closer" that Dr. Buss always was. However, for that to truly work, the Lakers young'uns are going to have to show some promise this season if they are going to actually land the type of difference makers they are looking for.

3. Boston only has had success because of Stevens, who I am nervous is starting to be discussed as if he is Red A or Popovich level, not even close yet. Needs a few rings

I wouldn't go so far s to say he's the only reason. Danny has gotten him some good players and early returns are favorable. But as you point out, he's going to need some rings before he starts getting real credit, let alone mentioned with Red or Pop. He sure does seem to be the type of coach that players want to play for though. So he's off to a good start.

4. FA's are not coming to Cleveland Wiggy. As I posted earlier this summer its time to blow it up. Ask Lebron to waive his no trade and send him as a one year rental for maybe a low/mid first rounder

Yeah, once Lebron is gone, the Cavs will be a lottery team. Whether or not they can be a "destination franchise" like they are with Lebron, will be determined by how they handle their rebuild. I'd be shocked if the Cavs asked Lebron to waive his NTC and even more shocked if he agreed to. The Cavs are still the odds on favorite to come out of the East and there is a lot of value in title runs.

Assuming Lebron leaves, they will likely be bringing a top 5 pick in what is supposed to be a really good draft. So, they can get a title run and still get to truly start their rebuild a year earlier than if they didn't have that Brooklyn pick. There is also the possibility that they can trade that pick for a guy who is good enough to convince Lebron to stay.

The Cavs a destination franchise? LOL. The only free agents they will draw will be those looking for the biggest offer if Lebron leaves. Lebron is the destination, not Cleveland.

Sabonis at age 20: 20.1 mpg, 5.9 ppg 3.6 rpg, 1.0 apg .399 field goal percentage
Zaza at age 20: 18.9 mpg, 6.2 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 0.8 apg .452 field goal percentage

So, Sabonis is on pace to be........

Zaza Pachulia, only not quite as good. :dhd:

Dynamite prediction here...

Sabonis this season is averaging 18.1 points and 12.4 rebounds per 36 minutes. Zaza has never posted per-minute rates of that extent at any point in his career let alone at age 21.

I've said all along that in OKC Sabonis had his rebounding rate and FG percentage hindered by the likes of Kanter, Adams, and to a certain extent Russell Westbrook gobbling up opportunites in the paint, and whaddya know...

You traded away a multi time all star to still be a midpack team going nowhere :bullshit::doh::L

And your team is going to put all your eggs in the FA basket for LeBron and Paul George next season...and will inevitably to sell off younger talent such as Clarkson, Randle, and KCP to do so.

No one is taking that Deng contract off your hands...

If you bring in LeBron AND George to play with Ingram a year older and Ball, and Kuzma a year older, you don't need those other mopes.

Remember too, Luke Walton is a coach players want to play for, he's got that Warriors pedigree.

I can easily see the Lakers bring those two in next year.

But if you don't get those guys...You sold off the farm without compensation. No lottery picks this year for the Lakers regardless of where they finish.
