I agree. West Virginia should be better than this. Not much defense so far this season. I'm asking this. Is it coaching or players?

Actually, the defense isn't that bad. UMD got at least 14 off of specials teams and offensive blunders. WVU's problems are a combination of inexperience and coaching.

There are some of our fans who say lack of talent, but even poor talent should show SOME improvement with effective coaching. I think Efore (Deforest) has taught a lot of our defensive players poor technique and is ruining our STs this year. Since Holgorsen took over, it seems as if the whole team regresses as the season goes on. He hired Dawson as OC, and the offense has sucked since. I think Holgorsen is a really good offensive coach, but has a LOT to learn about being the HC

Wed be better off with a JR high kid drawing plays in the dirt with a stick than with Efore coaching any position on the team. I am really having doubts about Dawson as well, we heard how Holgorsen's offense was player independent, that the system made the player..................

yup, give credit to Marylands ST's they have pinned us a few times to make it even tougher. They look like a much better team this year to their credit, but we are making them look like NC contenders
