Arkansas is no longer Nutt's Arkansas. They are 10 - 2 thus year.

Though maybe not the best human being Petrino is an excellent coach. Last year they had 5 losses in his second year but Florida should not have been. The referree who called a very bad personal foul was suspended and the SEC issued an apology (hear that Ball-less Beebe) but a loss is still a loss. Then another OT loss to LSU Arkansas was still a very good team even at 5 losses.

This year their only losses are Auburn and Alabama. With wins over SEC East champ USC and a win over Texas A&M I would say their program is comparable to Nebraska at this point and with Petrino's history will be in the top tier of the SEC going forward.

In the SEC he would have the media exposure and the favoritism in the polls. I really can't blame him for taking a look if he has a shot.

Believe me I am well aware of all the hubbub from all the Hog fans here and I can understand why an in state recruit would turn down any and all of the best programs to stay here, however I don't see how that loyalty would extend beyond the borderlines except for maybe Memphis and Texarkana unless your family is from here, which is the case.

Petrino has the same problem we do in regards to recruiting where if you don't win, you don't get the best recruits over the popular flavor schools
